I have never been so disappointed — Invisalign transfer. On my first visit they were very friendly — explained what they thought should happen. I was promised a call back before my next appointment (that was in 3 months) to discuss what I should expect to pay on that visit and just general costs. Upon my 2^nd visit I was in the office for about an hour and a half for them to tell me well we will have to get everything transferred. Meanwhile for the past several months they had had ALL of my trays. I was to be rescheduled for another 2 months out. Upon this arrival, yet again waiting well past my morning appointment time, I was put in a chair and they were going to redo my entire invisalign saying it would cost approx $ 5,000 — $ 6,000. Ummm I wasn’t brought up to speed on this nor did I agree to such a thing. When I showed concerns the doctor pulled me aside and said that my «bad attitude» wasn’t worth working with and that I need to take some responsibility since I hadn’t been in treatment in 4 years. I gave them 3 chances to fill me in on what was going on and they couldn’t ever tell me the plan and if the doctor would have ever looked at my case AT ALL he would have known that I have only been out of treatment for 2 years. So if he is only going to rely on what I say rather than use his medical intellect then why would I pay him $ 5,000-$ 6,000? Not to mention they let me walk out of the office with ALL my prescription invisalign trays. IN IT FOR THE MONEY!!!

My son and I have had a good experience with Dr. Philbin. Everyone at this office is friendly and professional, and he was very highly recommended by my children’s regular dentist.

Warning: I went to Dr. Philbin for Invisalign braces. First he made the wrong set, then after weeks he tried again and attached alignment «nubs» on my teeth without explaining AND ground down my front upper tooth in the process! I looked awful.
When I saw what he had done and told him i didnt like what he had done without consulting me, he said he could put a veneer on it — and that id probably want one on the adjacent tooth — just to match!
The whole time i waited for a new set of Invisalign, he charged me monthly and wanted me to come in even though i still didnt have the new set.
He’s totally in it for the money. I cannot recommend him at all.
