Sound Resolution

Tracy Foust is one of the best sound techs around. He ran sound for us at the Alexandria Va Canal Center Concert Series and it was fantastic! I highly recommend his company.

I have had the pleasure of hiring Tracy Foust/​Sound Resolution for some 100 news events over the past 15 years and I am proud to dub him the «Senator of Sound» — Tracy always comes through with peerless quality. We’ve collaborated on enormous, complex events, such as the dedications of the two Woodrow Wilson Bridges, where his challenge was making all the «speechifying» loud and clear to some 1,500 attendees on the decks of the windy bridges. Perfect. I’ve had him handle sound at newsers atop medivac helipads — during which we’ve sometimes had to break down quickly because emergency patient-​carrying choppers were inbound. Not a wasted motion and we were always back up as soon as humanly possible. Flawless. Perhaps my fondest recollection of Tracy’s skill and reliability was an event with the mayor of Alexandria and other dignitaries when his abilities were really put to the test. After the successful event, he let me know that his generator actually had failed seconds before event began, but he’d switched in his battery back-​up — and I literally hadn’t noticed even a skip. Amazing. In addition to being as reliable as the sun, Tracy also is just plain good people and fun to work with — hire him and you’ll get the bonus joke-​of-​the-​day at every event! :-) I can’t say enough good things about this really good egg and consummate professional. Hire him and worry about all the other things associated with your events — you definitely won’t have to worry about sound.
