This place is always a fun browse, be it for something useful like a mop or something fun like a daisy painted watering can or a crab lighter. Since Fawcett did the unthinkable and moved away from their downtown location, this is the ONLY place left to get some basic boating supplies. Since we come to Annapolis often, and get a mooring ball or anchor out, we always seem to end up needing something and at least Stevens is still thriving. From now on, it will be our go to spot when we visit by water. Let’s do our part in keeping these local gems in business!

Oh man forget Home Depot and Lowell’s… well maybe not but this little big space is a throw back to another time. The General Store you’ve seen them in old movies. The cramped little place that has everything and everything they do have. Need plumbing supplies and tools they have it. Need a mail box they have that too. How about a old time styled ships bell that rings real load they have it and yes I did ring the bell much to the chagrin of other shoppers in the place, sorry. They have a selection very nice oil lanterns both glass and brass many things for home accents up front and house hold tools towards the back. Nice place to go for that little tool that you will need to fix that little job around the house and to see how things use to be before the huge mega home improvement department stores took over and put little ma and pa stores like this out of business. Oh and don’t forget to buy that welcome mat and brass doorknocker on your way out.
