Piggly Wiggly

Piggly Wiggly is a store that the Deep South knows very well. Old fashion carts. Hand drawn signage. The only thing «new» is the fact that a security guard is on site which tells you a bit about the area.
This store is Clean! Clean! Clean! Wow! I don’t know why I am a bit surprised but truthfully I am. Clerks were friendly and nearly dressed in their own personal style.
Produce section was well stocked and fresh. Meat department also. All aisles were full. This is not a large store and us within spitting distance of a Winn Dixie and a Walmart. But go to The Pig! Oh how I wish they sold t-​shirts!!!
This location is void if a bakery or deli. Like I said… old fashioned. However they did have hummus and soy/​almond milk so they aren’t that far behind the times.
The best part about Piggly Wiggly is the name and the pig logo! I could not help but stop in! My mom’s bowling team was sponsored by Piggly Wiggly for years. My stop brought back memories!
