Dr. David Wade has been freeing people from pain in the clinic in Oxford, AL since 1984. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Wade is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of patients.
Dr. Wade started practicing with Dr. James Lett who shared decades of knowledge and uses a «whole person approach». This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Wade is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health. My family roots can be traced back to pre-Civil War in N.E. Alabama. My Dad was in the service. I went to 18 different schools from k– 12, graduating from Balboa High School, Republic of Panama. College: United States Merchant Marine Academy, Degree: Marine Engineer, 1978. I worked on Super-Tankers, advancing my USCG license to 2nd Assistant Engineer. While at the USMMA, I hurt my neck playing rugby. I had never heard the word «chiropractic», and went the standard medical route of drugs and hospital care. The pain improved, but the problem persisted. Working on my first ship, the SS Manhattan, I re-hurt myself when stabbing pain shot through my neck into my arm. Scared me to death. I went home, found Doc Lett, who quickly got me loosened right up, and on my way. About 6 and a half years later, I ended up purchasing Doc Lett’s Chiropractic Practice in Anniston, Al. 27 years, a beautiful red-head wife, an –ex plus 9 children and 6 grandchildren later, I’m still actively practicing and de
