Second time they did not give me everything we ordered… hard to justify 15 an hour when you can’t even do your job.

Not sure what’s up with our Anthem Taco Bell, but I just went through the drive thru and ordered two soft tacos and one crunchy taco. What I got was 2 soft«somethings» with no lettuce, no cheese and just about 2 table spoons of meat in a soft taco that was about a 1⁄8 of an inch thick, 1 inch wide and 3 inches long??? My Chruchy taco was also a «fail» with about 5 pieces of shredded cheese(no kidding) and maybe 1 ½ table spoons of meat. It was a NOTHING meal for $ 4.11. Oh ya, no napkins either? Guess that will be my last mean at the Anthem Taco Bell. Too bad so sad!

I just left this place and the guy in the back was an a**! I simply asked a question about a food and if they have it… and a simple«no sorry we don’t offer that» would suffice. This guy had to be overly dramatic and snotty like I’m a complete dumb a**. Well here’s a little advice«guy in the back», I daily have moments where I may think someone is a dumb a**…but in the adult world we don’t vocalize that… ya simply keep your mouth shut, have some frickin’ manners, and keep working! Bad vibe there… steer clear. **the older baldish guy handing the food out at the window was very nice and working hard but his little buddy in the back ruins the whole experience. Go to Carefree… I hear they are better!

I normally wouldn’t rate a Taco Bell, but I think it’s important to do so on this particular location. I stopped for a quick bite on my way home from a delivery in Anthem. I ordered a Mexican Pizza, when I took my first bite, I immediately knew something was not right, it tasted like it had been fried in rancid oil. Gross! I took it back in & the kid from the drive thru came over & I told him it tasted like it was cooked in rancid oil, he took it back & I heard him tell the manager & they actually said«well, it probably was.» What??? Are you kidding me??? The manager did not come out to talk to me, just sent the kid from the drive thru. He says what else do you want, I ordered a taco & a nacho & they didn’t even give me the money difference back & didn’t even apologize. Ridiculous!

The food presentation is a little lacking, but in over 120 visits, they’ve never gotten my order wrong. My wife orders the same things every time, but I order something different ever week. The bathrooms are clean and the lobby is well maintained, with super reliable AC, a totally«cool» feature in hot Arizona. The service is fast, and they are always friendly. I forgot my bag once, and the manager went above and beyond to return it. He even looked me up on Facebook and contacted a mutual friend, so I could get it back right away.

Great food, always hot, & fresh! The woman at the drive thru @ night is always so sweet! My son, & I always look forward to going there, just to see her smiling face. Her demeanor is enough to warm anyone’s heart. Great job taco bell!

I normally wouldn’t take the time to rate a Taco Bell, but I was so impressed with the kid in the drive-thru that I’m making an exception. After hours upon hours of Xmas shopping until I literally dropped, I was tiRED, agitated and hungry. After shopping at Anthem Outlet mall, we ran by here for a quickie bite. The kid(teenager) at the pick-up window had such a cheerful, friendly disposition that it turned my frown upside down! Happy, smiling, friendly, jubilant…(cue REM’s Shiny, Happy People Holding Hands…) So rare to see in many of the kids working in the service industry these days. Wish I’d gotten his name, because I’d certainly drop it. Thanks joyous Taco Bell teen! Oh, and they got my order right too(black bean burrito, no cheese).

Food… don’t waste your money. Even for Taco Bell this is bad Ambiance…it’s fast food. Staff…incompetent half of the time. Verdict…now I know how they got their slogan…“run for the border”…b/c this place will make you want to run far and fast.

I know it’s Taco Bell and it’s a revolving door for employees, over the 4 years I’ve been eating there, I’d rank the service overall a 2 out of 5. And I know it’s asking a lot to order anything special-order(like no sauce or extra lettuce), 5 times out of 10 they mess something up. Worse than the average Taco Bell. Oh, and the Mexican pizza shells are rancid almost every time. So often, in fact, that we never ever order them at the drive through since chances are they will be nasty and you don’t want to find out 10 miles down the road.

Manager is a joke. Closed extremely early. Wouldn’t talk face to face, had employees running back and forth with messages. This has happened before.

We’ve had an issue every time we have gone to this location. Unfortunately when you live as far north as we do, there aren’t a lot of options. If we are out, we will stop at the location at Tramonto instead. This location is always out of sauces. They ask you what type of sauce you would like, you say«hot and mild» and they say we only have Fire. Why not just say this to begin with vs asking what we would like? The hours on the door indicate the lobby is open until 10PM but it’s always closed about 930PM. In fact the last time we went there, the doors were open and we went in and waited 5 minutes for someone to take our order, but the Manager came up and said«sorry guys we’re closed inside, you will have to go thru the drive up». I looked around inside and there were high school kids in booths eating and horsing around. The drive-up window is always backed up and extremely slow. And they always forget something. This is why we like to go inside. There is a Del Taco on the other side of Anthem Way. If you’re looking for fast food Mexican late at night, head to the West side of Anthem.
