We are an electrical contractor that specializes in the installation and service of security systems including access control, CCTV, burglar alarms, fire alarms, security cameras, and video surveillance. We also specialize in low voltage systems including audio/​video, cabling, home audio, home automation, home theaters, intercom, paging systems, TV installation, and light electrical wiring.

History

Established in 2003.

Several years ago, three friends met when they became members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) union. Each friend specialized in a different area of electrical construction: high voltage electrical, low voltage security systems, and low voltage audio/​visual systems. After working together several years on various commercial and industrial projects valued in the millions, they decided to combine their skills and to start their own business, CGT Systems, in 2003.

Lee C.

Business Owner

Lee has over 20 years of work experience in the security industry. He previously owned a FireMaster franchise on the peninsula in the San Francisco bay area. He later relocated to the east bay and joined the IBEW in 1999 before starting CGT Systems, Inc., in 2003 with two friends.

In his spare time, Lee enjoys riding custom motorcycles and shooting targets at the gun range with his friends. He also loves music and tattoo art.

He is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who also enjoys traveling and spending time with his friends and family.
