Cutting Edge Lawn Mower & Power Equipment

Did not return my call like he said he would. The business does not appear to be professional. Could not repair my chain saw, charged a lot for my generator I found out from another company. The owned is polite but I recommend you pick another business for any repairs. I just did not feel comfortable with the new ownership.

I recently visited the ‘Cutting Edge’ at their new location on Buchannon Road in Pittsburg, where Rock City used to be. The owner, Rick, was very helpful by offering me a free used part to get me going. I believe in supporting my local small business so when I need a safety-​bar cable and a new mulching blade I revisited the Cutting Edge with my Sears Craftsman lawnmower in the bed of my truck. Although he didn’t have either of my parts in stock, he promised to order them without any upfront payment. Rick just took my business card and told me he’d get hold of me when the parts came in and, sure enough, he called a few days later that my parts were in. I was especially surprised that the price on both items was better than what I would have paid after shipping from Sears. I’ve never had work done there but believe the Cutting Edge very capable of any small motor repair.

Been here several times for equipment repairs.
They do know what they are doing,
Tried to order up a lawn edger here once, they took all my info, «we will call you later today with a price»
No call 2 days later i called them, Had to give them all the info again. A couple of days later i called them again, They had no idea who i was and wanted to get all the info all over again.
I gave up and ordered what i needed elsewhere.
Still go here for shop repairs and for parts i need for do it yourself repairs Prices for repairs are fair, not great, just fair.
They have repaired several lawn mowers, hedgers and weed whackers for us. I have always been satisfied with these repairs

I’ve been to Cutting Edge 3 times, the first time I went to get a gas tank for my mower and the Spanish guy that sold it to me was very rude, I don’t think he wanted to be there and as a matter of fact, he didn’t even installed it for me, he was too busy on the phone, the second time was a little better because he wasn’t there. I order a wheel for the same mower and the gentlemen that help me was even funny, I was even thinking that they fire the other guy. Well to my surprise I had to go there a third time and the same Spanish guy was again on the phone, this time I know he was talking to his ex wife complaining about something, well, he again ignore me and again after I bough the gas line I had to install it myself again. Now I don’t mind paying for that service, since they’re the experts, but the guy didn’t stop talking on the phone, it seems to me like I was bothering him or something I cannot say that I won’t go there again, just because I have garden tools and they do tend to break every once in a while, so I need to go there, they have a good selection of parts, but the customer service from the Spanish old men have to change. If I have to go again I will probably call first to see who answers the phone and hoping he’s not there.
