I was blown away today by East County Endodontics. I had the most amazing expirience ever! I hate dentist and I have a numerous of dental problems but thank god I was referred to this office. Everybody is extremely nice and friendly. I was worried about my 2 front teeth that need a root canal ASAP and had been undecided for about 2 years until I read all the revoews and decided to try before I end up loosing my front teeth. I had my root canal done that first time I came in and in less than an 1 hr. Turns out that Dr. Didnt think I needed 2 done his only concern was only one. Thank god. I will recommend to all my friends and fam. He is amazing and has alot of knowledge. Will come back if need another root canal for sure. Thank you very much East County, you were all incredible

Simply the best, staff, facilities and Dr Hornberger is amazing. Came in for a root canal and the procedure took no more than 45 minutes. No pain, no discomfort and left feeling great.

This was the most stress-​free dentist appointment I’ve ever been to! In hearing that I needed 2 root canals I was dreading the pain, anxiety and time spent we all have in going to have dental work done. Dr. Hornberger and his staff are extraordinary. Very professional, well informed and pleasurable (Thank you Irma and Jennifer!) I was out of there in under 2 hours! Major plus that the goodie bag they give you comes in a well presented tray with medication, mirror, wipes, lip balm and toothbrush oh and a full size candy bar!!! Yes!!! Very impressed by the team at East County Endodontics. Customer service on the phone, ease of paperwork, and even in the chair while getting a root canal done was excellent. Dr. Hornberger and his team were friendly, expert, and honest in their assessments, and worked to make sure I was comfortable throughout my whole procedure. They all set a stellar example of how we in health care should provide for all those who seek our services.

This was my first time going to this office. Other than the experience my daughter I really do not know much about this office. My daughter told me he’s good so I ran with it though she’s a black belt she can handle pain– ha ha ha.
Judging from the outside just another dental office in Antioch. I opened the door and I was greeted by the big smile. Right then I felt at ease. Her smile calm my nerves a lot. She gave me some paperwork to fill out. Very short wait, then another friendly face with a smile the dental assistant (I’m assuming) called me in. The two smiles really made an impact on my visit. I felt important even though I am a complete stranger to this office. Here comes Dr Hornberger greeted me explained things. He explained to me what needed done. All of it done with in 45 minutes.
I am proud to say Dr Hornberger truly is an amazing dentist/​endodontics. I hate dentist I hate going to one. But I had to have my root canal. I barely felt the injection for the anesthesia of which the one that I dread for. He has such a gentle/​light hands that made it very comfortable. He explained everything pretty step by step something I really don’t want hear but I am very glad he did.
I passionately hate needles hate shots and even worse dental work ups. If you’re like me and needed a root canal done I highly recommend this office. Friendly smiley staff awesome service and awesome dentist/​endodontics.

I never experienced any pain during my root canal and the way he talked through what he was doing was a great ease to my mind. Highly recommend this office. Very easy on the pocket book too since I was having financial difficulty. I will DEFINATELY come here for future Endo work.

Dr Hornberger and his team are the BEST… I can’t stress enough how calm and at ease they made me feel. Having had a history of the worst experiences in the past with Endodontists, I couldn’t be happier with Dr Hornberger and his team. From my first call to their office to set up my appointment to the day of my oral procedure, it was world class service all the way. Painless, seamless, efficient and a very calming atmosphere. These were key for someone like me who was already stressed out about the visit based on my past experience, there was clearly no reason to be as I was in perfect hands. Let me start by saying Dr. Brian Hornberger is amazing!!!
I’m a dental hygienist and have been working in dentistry for over 20 yrs., so my opinion matters!
I started experiencing a toothache. I knew it was just a matter of time before the pain became unbearable. I was so apprehensive and worried about this, because I had an upcoming trip planned and as much as I wanted to put this off, I knew I had to act quick.
From my initial phone call to the practice to the time I walked out the door, I felt this office was definitely worth writing about!
This guy is the definition of professionalism.
He told me everything he was doing, used the latest and greatest technology in diagnosing the problem, and just a plain good ol’ dentist.
The injections were painless, even the one on my palate– YES, that one!
The procedure was quick, 25 mins total.
The greatest part is that I didn’t feel a thing.
Not 1 bit of discomfort.
His assistant Jennifer was thorough and just as quick as he was.
All and all I give this office a perfect 10.
I hope I won’t be needing anymore root canals, but if I do… He’s the man!
I will be referring all of my patients to him.

Amazing. that’s the least I can say! No one ever wants to have dental procedures done. but the office is welcoming.. And pleasantly enjoyable. the staff is phenomenal. And Dr Hornberger is absolutely the best. the procedure was essentially painless… Thank you for making such an unwanted procedure so pleasant. I recommend him entirely.. :)

If you ever need a root canal I highly recommended East County Endodontics. I had a great experience. While I hope I never have to go back, lol, if I do need another root canal I world definitely see Dr. Hornberger.

Dr Hornberger did a great job of explaining my sons condition and plan of action. He was very gentle and kind with my son and the office staff were very professional. Only downside was waiting 30 minutes past our appointment time for a 9:45am Appt time, but on the flip side they did save me hours of time with my other dentist, explaining we could have a permanent filling completed here rather than making yet another appointment with the regular dentist.

Walked in the door at 2:15 and started filling out paperwork.
By 3:30 my root canal was finished and I was driving home.
The procedure was completely painless and the whole staff is communicative and professional. Absolutely top-​notch.
Never imagined I would give a 5 star review to a dentist…
But Dr Hornberger rocks!
If you need a root canal, my condolences… But in my case putting it off and avoiding it was far more painful than the hour I spent in the chair.

Well it had been a long time since I had seen a dentist. After enduring 4 days of toothache pain, I decided it was time t go to the dentist. Went to see my dentist Dr. Sharani and he said I needed a root canal. Instead of wanting to perform the procedure. He recommended to see Dr. Hornberger who is across the street from his office. Went into Dr. H’s office and the staff was so friendly. I didn’t have to wait long to get the root canal done. Dr. H did a few tests to see which tooth was the one giving me pain, found it and we were ready for the root canal. Never had one done before and I tell you what, I heard stories of the pain. It took Dr. H about 45 minutes to do the root canal and I am thankful to him and his staff.

Can I just say that I had the best experience here ever getting a root canal! 3 days of throbbing pain came to an end after I left their office yesterday. It’s been many years since I’ve had a root canal and the last one was just a horrible experience at another location. I was referred by my dentist to come here for it and glad he did. Staff and Dr. Hornberger are professional, compassionate, and makes you feel comfortable, which is important because we all know dental visit are never fun. Beautiful office as well. Painless absolutely painless getting the root canal. If I ever have to see a Endodontist again I’m only coming here, so glad they work with my dental network. Thank you all so much, I’m feeling so much better! I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Exceptional service in every way! Everyone there was extremely friendly, polite and helpful including the people at the reception desk. The doctor and his assistant gave thorough easy to understand explanations about the procedure and what to expect (on my first root canal). Everyone did a great job of removing the fear factor, during the procedure and even before I got there starting with my first phone conversation with the office. At the end of the appointment the presentation of the packaged moist wipe, mouthwash and water on a tray with flowers in a vase and a goody bag was more what I would expect from a fancy hotel — extremely thoughtful and classy.

I woke up at 1am with pain in my mouth on the scale of an 8 from 1 – 10. Went back to sleep amazingly then woke back up at 4am with the same amount of pain. After 10+ years (lol) this is it, I have to see the dentist. A co-​worker of mine just happened to have dental work done yesterday and just to my luck, he told me about the great experience he had with his doctor and I took his advice. East County Endodontics preformed a pain-​less root canal on my back molar. Great job you guys if I could put more stars I would! I can’t wait to come back for more work thank you! I am no longer in pain.

I am a nearly forty year old man who had been active in sports all of my life. Unfortunately I have had more then handful of traumatic injuries to my mouth/​teeth. I have had a lot of experience with several Dentists/​Endodontists in my life. With over a half dozen root canals under my belt throughout my life I have avoided the Dentist/​Endodontist like they were the plague. After recently moving to Antioch I was in need of a root canal. After my first visit and root canal with Dr. Hornberger my opinion has changed dramatically.
Dr. Hornberger and his staff are second to none!!! They were more than concerned with my comfortableness and my experience. Not only did they take extremely good care of me, they made me feel very relaxed and well taken care of. The procedure itself (upper root canal) was a breeze. It went by so quick I was shocked. Not one once of pain or uncomfortableness. The entire appointment was unlike any I had ever experienced, in a very positive way. Dr Hornberger and his staff are the best I have seen in my nearly forty years. Dr. Hornberger is heads and tails above everyone else in my experience (which is extensive).
Again, I cannot express how good of a experience this was for me as someone who gets extremely anxious when visiting the Dentist/​Endodontist. I highly recommend Dr. Hornberger. Even after the appointment was over I was given a goody/​treat bag full of surprises which was fantastic.
