Lone Tree Golf & Event Center

We have been here twice now for the Father’s Day Brunch and I must say, I’m impressed. The grounds are well maintained, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the event center boasts floor to ceiling windows with amazing views of the golf course and rolling hills.
Our reservations were at 11:45 AM and we arrived at 11:40 AM. I was shocked that there was a line of about a dozen families, not people, lined up at the door. The previous year, we walked right in with absolutely no wait at all. Never-​the-​less, everyone grabbed a Mimosa (complimentary) and waited the short ¹⁰⁄₁₅ minutes it took to get us in and sat.
The food here is very good (buffet status) and the variety is excellent. There were about 2 dozen items on the main buffet line. Everything from salads, to seafood, pasta, breakfast items, veggies, a build your own omelette station, an outside BBQ station, and a desert bar. The food was well stocked throughout our visit and what I really love about this buffet is that when something needs replenishment, it was usually with a different item which made for even greater variety.
Our server, Jessica, did a fantastic job making sure our beverages were full and dirty plates cleared. She was kind and attentive throughout our entire meal.
Sunday buffet is $ 27 pp, but on holiday’s (such as Father’s Day) it is $ 37 pp. Additionally, there is a mandatory service fee (tip) of $ 8 pp on holidays.
I would not hesitate to come back or recommend this place … especially for family gatherings. There will be something for everyone to munch, the view is amazing, and you are well taken care of by the staff. How much better could a family brunch get? Oh, and yes, they do have a full bar!

My sister and I took our parents as a combined Mother’s Day/Father’s Day brunch. Our reservation was at 10am. The food wasn’t ready, so we waited in the bar. One of our seats were ripped. Not a great first impression. When we got to the table, I had a dead fly in my coffee cup. Gave it to one of the wait staff. No apology, no new cup. Though we did have a live fly dive bombing us during our meal. Noticed one of the staff waving a towel back and forth over the dessert area. Hope it was a clean one. Finished my water about half way through, no one ever came by to refill. For the most part the food was good, nothing spectacular. Good overall selection. Especially liked the asparagus and the crème brule. But, the grilled vegetables were very over charred and even with the sauce the raviolis were dry. Was not worth the price you have to pay.

I shouldn’t have to work so hard to give a place my money!
I called about three weeks ago to make a reservation for Father’s Day brunch. Was told that they weren’t ready to accept reservations for that day but they would take down my info and contact me when they were ready.
Weeks go by and no call. I figure they forgot, and I’m cool with that. Things happen. Called yesterday and they ladies who are in charge of the brunch are not in again, so I leave my information.
Fast forward to today, I receive a voicemail from the brunch ladies. I literally call back 5 mins after they called and they are gone. I ask the lady on the line of my reservation is confirmed, I was told no. I need to pay first before the reservation is confirmed.
I don’t have a problem with that, but the whole back and forth is not worth it. Plus it would have been nice if someone told me that I had to pay the amount plus tip when booking. I also don’t see any information about Father’s Day brunch on there website.
Frustrating experience!

Hot out here, but the course is superb for the price. But the best is the 19^th hole. Food is delicious and atmosphere is relaxing.

We booked this place for Mother’s Day Brunch 2016 with my new Husband, his parents and mine. This was to be a bonding and relationship building experience and despite our time here, it was thankfully. My mother called 3 times over the course of 5 days and no person was able to answer the phone, call her back or answer any questions about purcahsing tickets for the event. Finally, my Father called the golf store and they were able to book the reservations for us. They overcharged us and it took another 3 calls to ge the refunded money processed back to us. Once we arrived, there was absolute choas. We waited over an hour to be seated and there were plenty of open tables for 6 (our party size) available but the staff refused to relocate us to another, open, table. Finally, we had to be very stern with the host to seat us over people who weren’t even there. She did and we were finally able to start our meal. The food was cold, dry, overcooked, or just plain non-​existent. The menu promised ample selection of seafood and dishes, many of which I never saw the entire duration we dined (about 2 hours). Tickets were about $ 40/​person and I could have definitely cooked better quality food and had a more enjoyable time at home for that price. We have experienced other Mother’s Day brunches in Sacramento, where I am originally from – this is one I would not want to experience again.

We are always here for parties and celebrations. The golf course and staff do an excellent job from food and drinks to service and smiles. Great place for large groups.

By the end of my meal I was writing this while I was waiting for the check. The manager came up and apologized for the customer service I didn’t expect this at all and he was really nice even gave us his card with a discount for next time. He acknowledged that the communication got messed up. So I appreciate that and I’m glad I can come back with a better feeling.

I’m really torn about how to rate this place so I’ll do my best.
We attended a renewal of vows. The event was amazingly wonderful. The workers were friendly and attentive and the food was very good. The décor (which we partially decorated) was also nice. I would give that part a 4 star rating.
However, the parking lot (farthest from the golf driving range) was dark even though it had some street lights. As it turned out, two cars were burglarized even though they had a security guard on the premises. Passports, wallets, clothing are just among the few things that were stolen (Yes, I understand that you don’t leave passports, wallets, etc… in the car but they were from another country attending the event and didn’t realize what Antioch is like).
Unfortunately, Antioch has declined in the past 10 years. Crime rate has skyrocketed through the roof. If this place had better lighting and more than just one person working security it would be so much better and safer.
I don’t know if I would recommend this place. The staff is friendly and the food is good but at what cost? Was it an isolated incident? I don’t know. What are the chances you’re car will be broken into? (For the cars that were broken into — it was 100%). We have used plenty of other venues for large events and we’ve never had any issues with safety. So if you decide to use this place, beware of burglars that lurk in the dark.

I been coming here lately alot to play golf, 18 holes or driving range, is a good time!!!

My friend told me to meet her here for lunch and I thought it was going to be too swanky swank for a mid-​day lunch between pals. But, it’s not one of those swanky clubs. it’s chill and welcoming and the food is so danged good! It’s Antioch. so, hello!
I’ve since been back to pick up food while in the area and let me tell you that the coconut shrimp lettuce wraps are probably the best lettuce wraps I have EVER encountered!
Their onion rings are fantastic!
Their tacos are also fantastic!
I don’t have many reasons to go to Antioch but I tell ya, if I’m in the area, I’m stopping in for food!

My first visit to this heavenly brunch and I have to give it 5 stars. Clean, well organized and great chefs made this an exciting trip for us.
The iced seafood was beyond good. Mussels, clams and shrimp were perfect, lemony in flavoring alone but a spicy sauce added a big Wow. Carving station good, omlets were great too. Many other dishes cold and hot, salads as well. Excellent, no rush to leave and servers were on their toes and corteous.

I recently went to the Lone tree golf course to play on a Saturday. We got there around 9 and tee’ed off around 9:20. Half way through we stopped at the snack shack to get a sandwich. My two friends got a ham sandwich’s and I got a turkey sandwich. I hadn’t eaten anything else that morning and that night we went out to eat. Later in the evening I started feeling horrible. My stomach hurt and I couldn’t stop using the restroom for the next two days. I went to the doctor to find out I had food poisoning. I eat my left overs from the dinner I had that night just to see if that was it or not and I didn’t get sick. I know for a fact that it was from the golf course and I emailed them and NEVER got a response. I was forced to miss work and deal with that horrible feeling and didn’t even receive a simple apology. Horrible first experience.

The golf course staff could use some lessons on customer service. One guy in particular… We arrive about an hour early and ask if we can go out, and the guy tells us «No» you have to wait until your tee time. I wonder why because nobody is teeing off since people are doing their family «Easter» things. Okay. So we wait an hour. I go back and ask if were ready to go. He tells me 10 minutes. 1 group goes out. They are about to clear the first green and still, he doesn’t call people to the tee… Still waiting… So he pairs me up with another 2 some, now were four. Okay… Still No problem…
About the second hole, I look back, and what does the starter do? He sends out a two some behind us… Now these guys are on us and by the 5^th or 6^th hole they are waiting because we catch up to the foursome in front of us and now everyone is waiting! What golfers love to do, right?
There are so many course around here — Deer Ridge, Brentwood, Shadow Lakes, Boundary Oaks… Why would I go back to this place??? Not a very friendly place. Not concerned about pace of play, not service oriented…

Just had my daughter’s quinceanera at Lone Tree Golf Course Event Center — It was sooooo awesome. Staff was attentive, views were amazing and the food was delicious. Crysi and Deborah managed the event and were extremely detailed and helpful.
I highly recommend this place :)

A lot to choose from but the quality of the dishes were sub-​par. The pasta salad wasn’t cook all the way, the beef tips were super dry.

Really chill spot to chill at in the evening. Just chill outside to grab some drinks and look at the view. Only issue is the dang bugs that fly to you when you eat. Besides that, really pretty spot.

Our first time here. I felt they did a good job for the $$. Service was good, never felt rushed, our plates were bussed quickly. The cheese & fruit plates were as good as it gets! Shrimp salad was tasty but small– I had 4… The carving station was weak, the beef (not prime rib) had no flavor & was very dry. The rest of the hot food was pretty darn good. Nothing I couldn’t stand. Was a foggy morning so the view was weak, but we will go back. A very nice brunch for your time & money.

The view of the golf course is beautiful. The only drawback is the service at the restaurant during Sunday brunch buffet. It’s a hit or miss thing. Sometimes we get good service and sometimes not. The buffet food is good but not great. I do like their shrimp cocktails and crème brulee. Also, while making a reservation, I always request to have a table by the window and they don’t always accommodate when we arrive. Adult price is $ 25.95 and kids (12 and under) price $ 15.95.
The Champions Bar and Grill food is pretty good. Had their salad with salmon and it arrived to our table very colorful and pretty. It was delicious but the portion was not large. Don’t know if it’s still on the menu. The Blackened Chicken BLT is very good and the onion rings are delicious. Had the pork chops for dinner before and it was delicious. Do not know if the pork chops are still on the menu either.

I think 5 Stars don’t do Lone Tree Golf Course justice according to me.
Where do I begin? So I just got married May 17^th, 2014 and had a big fat Indian Wedding which took place at Lone tree golf course. I had my wedding (in the day time) and my reception (at night time) there the same day and I think choosing Lone Tree golf course as my wedding venue has been the best decision I had made during wedding planning. Now mind you I had looked at thousands of venues in the bay area and settled on this beautiful golf course for a few reasons.
First, the view is just breathtaking and gorgeous (I will put up photos of my event to prove that). Second, the SERVICE, which was a must for us was so dam amazing, I literally have no complaints. The customer service I got from the get go was spectacular. Third, the PRESENTATION, we did lunch for the wedding, and dessert stations for the wedding and the reception from them and boy was I taken aback.
So for our initial meeting we met Allyson who is the events coordinator at lone tree and Abdon, from the get go they both were just as excited as I was for my own wedding. They worked with us on everything and I had a huge list of things I wanted and in the end I got wayyyyyyy more then I asked for and that is whyI would recommend this venue to anyone who’s looking. They accommodated each and every need I had, from the getting in touch with my other vendors to help things run smoothly, to helping my family arrange breakfast snacks at the venue at 8am in the morning, to getting me a pasta station & dessert station for our lunch, to the amazing presentation they had for us, they really attended to my each and every need and for that I must thank Allyson and Abdon for making my dreams a reality. Allyson even let me decorator come a night before to set up so that the morning wedding could go on in a timely manner and I was so so impressed by the amazing customer service.
The lunch was absolutely beautiful, the food didn’t just look great but it tasted freaking FANTASTIC and yes I have tasted their sunday brunches before but they really out did themselves for the lunch buffet at my wedding. Everyone at our event raved about the lunch and it was beautifully set up and everything was wonderfully planned with no hitches and I am really grateful for that.
My entire wedding planning I saw a lot of ups and downs with different vendors but with Allyson by myside I really didnt have to worry about my biggest events which was my Wedding and Reception. She really made sure everything was done in a timely manner and she made sure that me or my family didn’t have anything to worry about so we could enjoy our party and that we sure did. Thank you so much Allyson and Abdon and the entire Lone Tree Golf Course staff for making my wedding so memorable. Your service was amazing, everyone had a blast at the wedding and raved not just about the venue but about the service as well. So THANK YOU!

Sunday brunch review only.
Food was fresh and nicely prepared. Lots of quality items offered, like lox, shrimp, mussels, steak, chicken cordon bleu, etc. The lone piano player lady was GOOD, and pretty soon members of our group (40 in total) began to sing along with her. The buffet is fully featured with mimosas, desserts, a omelet bar, salads, etc. The prices are most reasonable. The setting overlooks the golf course and that was charming for a Sunday afternoon.
