Noah Niufar, MD

Dr. Niufar has been mine and my daughter’s Dr. For years. He is a great man and Dr. He really listens to you. He is very caring in wanting to help you when something just isn’t right. I will always go to him he’s the best :-)

Terrible Doctor! I came in wanting him to look at my skin condition, he took about 20 seconds and diagnosed it as a bug bite. They were not bug bites! He does not make eye contact when he speaks. I will not return.

Dr. Niufar and his staff ROCK! The doc is low key, friendly, not in a rush. Love that! Staff is super-​courteous, professional.
Nice offices as well.
BACKGROUND: This was my first visit to the doc. I have been seeing the same doc for 15 years, but she is 27 miles away and it is tedious to get there for basic things like a check up, etc. I finally decided to find another family doc. While I was visiting my daughter in the hospital recently, I asked the nurses about local doctors and Dr. Niufar’s name came up repeatedly. They GUSHED about how fantastic he is, so I can now confirm that he is indeed a great doctor.

Dr. Nuifar came recommended by a nurse in Antioch while as I was looking for a PCP for my teenage son. She said he is great with teens and they seem to really like him. She was absolutely correct. My son thinks Dr. Nuifar is «cool» as he puts it.
Dr. Nuifar for me is very caring, he shows this genuine concern by calling the house to check on him when he has had an injury. He even takes the time to call on a weekend when he finds out my son has been injured. I am so thankful to the nurse who recommended him.

I’ve never kept a consistent doctor, and Dr. Niufar is the first one I felt comfortable with to see on a permanent basis. He was recommended to me by my brother who is a surgeon.
The doctor’s office is fantastic, everything is new, clean bathrooms, and nice computers in every room. The staff is very professional and all paperwork is done via computer and printed out before you leave. You actually have something in your hand describing the visit and the results of the visit (medication) before you leave.
Most doctors pretend to have the answer for everything, and it’s incredibly obvious when they pull information out of their @ss. Dr. Niufar is secure enough to research in front of you information via his computer to help assess the issue at hand. You’ll also never feel rushed or feel like you’re just a no-​name patient who’s rushed out for the next.
I live in Benicia and I’m willing to drive all the way to Antioch to see the Doc.
Highly recommended.

By far Dr. Niufar is the best family practioner, I’ve had since I’ve been in the area. Very personable, caring and a great sense of humor. The staff is awesome. You don’t feel rush, as long as you’re talking he’s there to listen. You’re not a number to Dr. Niufar, you’re actually someone he genuinely cares about! More than I can say about Dr. R. Clark.

Very friendly staff, Dr. Niufar is quiet at first but once you start to engage him, he is open and very friendly. I like that all of the records are kept in the computer system, not on a piece of paper.
Actually takes the time to talk to you and get to hear about your concerns, then gives proper advice.
The only suggestion I have is that the medical assistants ask all relevant health information while in the exam room, not at the receptionist desk. I was asked on my first visit what meds I was taking while standing at the receptionist desk, and thought that was a bit odd — there wasn’t anyone else in the waiting room, but had there been, I would have been uncomfortable with that. Very minor, but just saying, ya know!!!
Elana, the medical assistant, rocks and is very personable!
With the exception of Dr. Lieb and Dr. Niufar, good doctors in Antioch are hard to come by.
I’ll be back and highly recommend him to anyone seeking a primary care physician!!!
