Let me start off by saying this place rocks!
This is Shannon Burgard not Rick Burgard.
I have been coming here for almost 2 years and have been having the owner Brianna Krupa dye and cut my hair. There is more of a reason than most why I chose to go to Brianna from the start. I came in after going to several hair salons looking for someone that had knowledge in my situation, with no luck. You see I had cancer and lost some of my hair and needed to know if I could start to dye my hair again and see if there was something they could do with my cut also. I talked to Brianna after the very nice receptionist said the owner should be able to help me. I got a call back the same day and she was very knowledgeable and wasn’t to scared to test my hair before giving me a whole new makeover. You see my hair I did have left was really long and I was scared to go short and blonde.
Long story short after scheduling an appointment and having my hair tested and getting a very radical awesome transformation, I was beyond grateful. I felt like I was pretty again and could put my cancer battle behind me. Brianna did such a great job with my hair that I even kept my hair short and dyed blonde, the way she first did my hair almost 2 years ago.
Over the last about two years I have gotten to know some of the staff and let me tell you they are all very sweet and know what they are doing. They have a new receptionist that is at the front desk that is super sweet and her name is Haley. I can say though that they all are super nice and it’s a great atmosphere.

I’ve been going to Tami for highlights for a few years now. She is hands down one of the best colorist in the East Bay. She is fast, always accommodating and I leave looking like a million bucks! I highly recommend her!

I have been coming here for a few years and every time I go my visit is nothing less than excellent! There are many people here who do amazing work, but my go to will always be Nikki. She’s been with me through every hair style and color I’ve wanted and I’ve NEVER been disappointed. My platinum blonde turned green in a pool a few years ago, and I don’t mean a slight tint of green, I mean full on green, people in the salon thought I had dyed it that color intentionally, and Nikki was able to help me get all of the green out without damaging my hair at all. It was a long process but she never gave up and I couldn’t have been happier. Since then I’ve had purple, dark brown, silver, all kinds of things in between and every single time I leave there I am amazed that someone can do such amazing hair! 5 stars across the board definitely!

I heard great reviews from a friend so I took the plunge and decided to try this place. Very cute, friendly staff but parking sucks. Anyway I got Nikki and she was pretty nice. I have virgin dark brown hair and wanted to do a light brown baylage, just something subtle. I got the opposite of that. She bleached my hair PLATINUM BLONDE, at first I was trying to keep a positive outlook but once she started drying my hair I realized how sporadically the blonde had been applied, it looked messy not like a baylage at alllll. Anyhow I asked her to fix it and she agreed. The bad part (yes there’s more) is that she didn’t know how. She asked a stylist then maybe the manager on how to fix it. The last person she asked gave her a tube of color and said this should work replace it before tomorrow. So that was less than reassuring, luckily it worked pretty well other than not being what I asked for and having totallly fried my hair it was a looooooot better than the blonde and I had already been there for a few hrs so I wanted to leave. So all in all it turned out great (no shine though) buuut I prefer not to go through all those emotions everytime I get my hair done so I will NOT be coming back.

Ive been coming here off and on for years. Got my hair done here for senior prom years ago and currently get my eyebrows waxed with Mr. Bustos. I dont let anyone else touch my brows anymore!

Nikki S. is awesome. She listened to what I wanted and gave great hair advice and recommendations. I am excited to have her do something new with my hair! The salon itself is very chic and cute! I also think it is great they have a brow and wax bar inside the salon, I am anxious to try.

Lindsey Porter is amazing! She touched up roots and added low lights. She leaves my hair feeling so soft, healthy and fresh. Always turns out way better then I expected! She is very knowledgeable about everything with hair. Thanks you Lindsey, for bringing life back to my hair and making it look amazing !

I just got my hair done by L. j and it was my 2^nd time getting my hair colored by her. She did so amazing! She colored it the way I always dreamed of that no other hair stylists have been able to do. I’m so thankful to have found her. ;-) I definitely recommend Wild Orchids Hair Salon.

I started coming to Wild Orchids a few months ago when I moved to this area. Even though my new hairstylist, Lori, had just met me, she just seemed to know exactly how to create a great cut and color for my style. I have been a loyal client ever since. My color has changed a couple times at my request and it always turns out perfect. Very happy that I found her and this salon!
Also, all the girls are very friendly, and the Lash/​Brow Bar is always busy, plus the salon is decorated very nicely, so you don’t feel like you’re in a strip mall once you step inside.

I’m a pretty nonstandard customer, but Mary has been great. I never have any trouble getting an appointment within a few days, and Mary is attentive and careful to make sure I’m getting the cut I want; that’s not always easy, as I’m a recent convert to short hair, but she takes all the time we need to get it right. The price is totally reasonable too. It’s a friendly, clean shop, and not uptight or uncomfortable about people outside the norm — quite the opposite. I’ll be sticking around.

Very disappointed with this salon will never go there again some who go there have bad haircuts. Wonder about their taste. I am. So with this haircut so many reviews that said very similar things.

The staff at Wild Orchids Salon donated some services to a local school raffle basket and I was lucky enough to get a few gift certificates.
I went for a brow wax but Chris (brow expert extraordinaire) advised me to skip the wax because of skin products I used. He tweezed and trimmed, then showed me step-​by-​step how to replicate the work he did, and what products I would need… Life changing!
I got lash extensions for the first time ever from Lindsay… She interviewed me beforehand and showed me different looks– we chose the right fit for me and I could not be more thrilled. My lashes are gorgeous and I’ve had very little shedding.
I also had my first intimate wax experience, if you know what I mean. It wasn’t exactly a cake walk, but Lindsay was awesome and kept me at ease throughout. Not sure that I’ll repeat that one, but that’s no fault of hers. If I do decide to do it again, she’s my gal, for sure.
No downside here… Great service, competitively priced.

I always get the best treatment and friendly service at Wild Orchids Salon. I’ll come in with my hair a disaster and always leave feeling and looking amazing thanks to Brianna Krupa and team’s fabulous work. I highly recommend checking them out and making an appointment!

Lindsey is so sweet! I needed a new hair stylist and she gave life to may hair. It was soft for like 3 days straight. She listens to what you want and gives her professional opinion of what you need. Highly recommend this amazing lady :))

I’ve been getting my hair done by Lindsey this summer and I just love her. I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to find a good new hairdresser in the area (they are a rare find sometimes!). I couldn’t be happier to have found Lindsey. She has done my hair 3 times now and each time she did an EXCELLENT job on my color — it looks so natural. She knows her stuff! She’s also incredibly kind and patient so just a joy to be with.

I was so excited to finally find a hairstylist who had great updos and posted beautiful work. I spoke with Carissa about scheduling an appointment for my hair and for her to hopefully do my hair for my upcoming wedding. Communication for the first week was great, but after that I heard nothing. I was told that I was going to be contacted by the manager for a contract and never was. I have left a voicemail at the salon and sent her another message but have received nothing. It is unfortunate the the salons customer service is run this way, I was excited to have my hair done here but will not be coming here because its clear that customers are not a high priority.

Lindsey is everything! I asked for ombré and she did exactly what I wanted! If your reading this girl THANK YOU!!!

Lindsey P. is amazing and so technical with her work. She knows what’s best to get the look you want. Not to mention it’s such a blast being in her chair. She is great at fixing other stylist mistakes too! This place is not pricey like other may think, other places nickel and dime too much and you pay the same price at the end of the day when you most likely won’t get what you want. Wild Orchids keeps up on all the latest styles and the make sure the customer is happy when all is said and done!

What can I say, Wild Orchids is a one stop shop! Lindsey’s been my hair stylist for about a year now & my only regret is not finding her sooner! She’s amazing with color, cuts, extensions & blow outs & is a total sweetheart!
Chris has became my official eye brow guru and as someone whose never let anyone touch my eyebrows before & is super picky, I tell you he’s the best at what he does! I also get my facials/​microdermabrasion/​chemical peels there & not only is my skin very happy with the results, you can’t beat the price!

I made an appointment with Nikki to get a cut and color done. I was tired of my hair and wanted to try something new. She listened to what i was going for and I showed her pictures as well. She had a few suggestions and asked questions to make sure I got wanted. She is FABULOUS! I have already booked my next appointment!
The Salon itself is kinda spa like. Different shades of gray and white. I can see that the owner is going for but… It could use a pop of color here and there (just my 2cents)
I will be coming back for sure and do my best to send clients their way. :)
