Anderson Preparatory Academy™ is a Private Preschool for children ages 6– weeks to 5– years old, as well as the Anderson Prep Achievers™ summer camp for children up to age 12. Anderson Prep achieves excellence as a result of Interactive, Hands-​on, Accelerated Curriculum Based Learning™.

At Anderson Preparatory Academy™, we believe every child has natural gifts and talents. Our Learning Directors nurture these gifts through hands-​on, interactive learning, enabling children to learn at their own individual pace in a way they understand (with group and individual experiences).

Additionally, we prepare homemade meals daily. We have a large playground to foster young imaginations, as well as allow for structured sports and games. Upon graduation, we hand out «scholarships» with their diplomas, meaning each child that attends more than 6 months receives monies to start or fund a college savings plan.

History

Established in 2010.

Anderson Preparatory Academy™ (North Campus) was created in 2010 by Polly Anderson and Lisa Meisner. On February 12^th, 2015, the Apache Junction Chamber of Commerce conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the newest location, the AJ Campus.

Polly entered into the childcare business in 2004, owning 4 schools since that time. She was raised in a family of 8 children, and has a 15-​year old daughter. Previously, she owned and managed her own rental properties, as well as worked in the medical field.

Lisa, who joined Polly in the childcare business in 2008, is a retired critical care registered nurse and has worked with children in many capacities for over 30 years.

Polly and Lisa are supported by AMAZING Team Members, all with diverse life experiences, world travel, education, second languages, the love of nurturing children’s gifts and talents, and a passion for creating a Whole Family Experience.

Meet the Manager

Olivia S.

Manager

I was born in Ventura, CA, to native Arizona parents. I grew up with a very musical background. In high school I toured with various local bands (singing mainly), exposing myself to the music industry, as well as the Spanish language. I involved myself with positive youth, sports, outings and camping — I had a great youth and family morals.

At age 16 I started working as a teacher’s aide at a preschool. I was 18 when I was given my own classroom. I found my passion decorating the class, displaying children’s artwork, circle time songs, as well as adding my own performing arts for special musicals for holiday events.

As the years went by my knowledge grew, my ideas flourished, and I furthered my education. My passion became my career! I just love the feeling of creating a safe and fun environment where families are happy and worry-​free!

I met my husband at a preschool; we have now been married 16 wonderful years, and we have three amazing children, ages 15, 13 and 11.
