Came here with a friend. The guy behind bar was super friendly. Let me taste test the sweet tea vodka before ordering one. Which I ordered one as it was pretty good. Prices are super affordable. The owner was nice too. Can’t remember her name. Has short blonde hair. Most the people seem to be regulars. I can appreciate places like this. I only stayed an hour and I can see myself going back. :-)

I can appreciate a GOOD dive bar! This is not even that! What a hole! This Grumpy old Gal (we’ll call her Mary for a lack of fake names) «serving» us was pissed off to be behind the bar and it showed. Unfortunately… she is the owner. Yes, that’s her level of customer service as the owner. She was upset that her regular girls was late. Those empanadas they serve were… how shall I say this? You’re going to see them again REAL soon.

I f you look in the dictionary for a classic neighborhood dive bar you will see a picture of Captain’s. The all day Happy Hour makes it a great, quiet place for day drinking with a limited menu of basic bar food and daily food and drink specials.

Small bar, some might call it a dive. Typical bar food, not bad. Couple of pool tables. Bartenders are freindly. I’ve been in here when it looks a little rough, but it’s nothing that I’d go crying about.
