Timm Chapman shoots exclusively in larger format film for its vivid colour and exceptional dynamic range that sets his images apart. Our specialty is custom work where we can tailor the finish and size specifically to your décor, and because his images are captured with a camera four times the size of a regular camera, we can easily produce high quality pieces at enormous sizes — far beyond the reach of digital photography.

Timm also offers photography mentoring in both one on one & traditional classroom training.

History

Established in 2007.

Timm has been making photographs for over 30 years, and over that time his images hgave appeared in numerous publications across the United States and Canada.

In 2007, he made the move away from stock photography and concentrated more on his true passion: Selling his fine art landscape and travel photography personally through the fine art show circuit and globally through his website.

Having his images prominently displayed in the foyer of an office building or as the focal point in someone’s personal home where his work was seen and appreciated each day, proved infinitely more satisfying than having his photographs hidden within the pages of forgotten publications.

Plus, Timm gets to talk one on one with his customers; revealing the stories and techniques behind each unique image, giving a personal connection to each piece.

Timm Chapman is an award winning photographer whose work hangs in both private & corporate collections. His images have been featured in publications all over North America including National Geographic Traveler and United Airlines’ Hemispheres’ magazine.

Over the years he has dabbled in all aspects of the medium, before finally settling on his greatest love: landscape portraiture; with Mother Nature as his model

Capturing Mother Nature is often a daunting task. She has many moods,.many faces and a spectrum of beauty that is a true challenge to capture accurately. All elements have to come together to give her the justice she deserves. Light. Composition. Drama. Each must be present to capture an image that evokes emotion.

Born in the UK and raised in Canada, Timm currently finds home at the foot of the Superstition Mountains in Arizona; however his endless pursuit to capture Mother Nature in all her glory will continue to take him all over the globe
