Michele’s husband went on the HCG diet with an InShapeMD in Charlotte, NC. In 30 days he lost 30 pounds of belly fat and looked 10 years younger. Instead of trying to smother him with a pillow because she was so jealous of his incredible weight loss, Michele decided to try it herself (and save herself a likely jail sentence). Excellent staff, very knowledgable and kind. They made me feel comfortable every visit. I completed the HCG program. I lost a total of 25 pounds and lots of inches in 40 days. The diet was easy to follow and I never felt hungry. I would definitely return in the future for some of the other services as I currently have reached my weight loss goals. I have tried many diets in the past and this has given me the best results in the quickest amount of time. I am so grateful that I encountered this place driving by.

At 52 my body wasn’t responding to diet and exercise the way it used to. I decided to contact InShape Apex and was intrigued by the assortment of health benefit programs they offered. I started 7÷1÷2015 on HCG and weighed in at 253LBS with my blood pressure at an all time high of 149⁄97. After 40 days on the program I weighed in at 221LBS with my blood pressure now reading 134⁄92. After the 40 days I decided to go on Sermorelin for 6 months to help with my workout program. As of 9÷17÷2015 my current weight is 214LBS while increasing my lean muscle and blood pressure is holding steady at 126⁄86. My energy level is through the roof and sleeping soundly at night. As for the staff… Michelle and Denny have put together a top notch staff that is very supportive and informative. Thank you InShape Apex for a job well done. I will post again once I hit my target weight of 208LBS and 18% or less body fat, exactly where I was at 42 running in a triathlon.

I purchased a $ 47 Groupon for UltraBurn Objections. I made an appointment and received the hour long weight loss consult (sales Pitch). It sounded good (and I am a suck for that type of direct selling– I can’t even walk past those beauty treatment kiosks at the mall). I did the blood draw and made an appointment for later in the week. later that day I called my doctor to let her know I had signed and she strongly advised me against it because of some pre-​existing conditions. I started calling/​emailing InShapeMD immediately. When I finally reached them the following morning, they said they would refund me everything except the $ 129 for the blood test because they had already received the results. I asked them to email me the results, they did not. I emailed 2 other times to see if I could come in for the injections I had originally scheduled and had no response. I am out almost $ 200 for nothing.

Hands down, five full stars! InShape MD has a wonderful 3 person staff, which makes each visit personal! The weight loss counselors have had experience with the programs on a personal level, and it makes them that much more understanding to your weight loss journey. I did the countdown diet and had healthy, non-​symptom, professional success.

This diet works! It is only 500 calories and I was hungry, so they upped my HcG injections which helped a bit. Everything I’ve read on the internet says you won’t be hungry, so I guess I’m an exception… I“ve lost 15 pounds in 30 days, which is good for me – on most other diets I’ve only lost up to 10 pounds.
Michelle, the owner, got really upset with my slow weight loss and really gave me the «Third Degree», which I did not appreciate at my age. I’m not going back. I’ve bought injections online for my next weight loss round that I will do at home.
The HcG injections in my stomach at home don’t hurt too much, but I hate the B12 one in my arm or butt weekly at the clinic. I’ve refused them. The B12 formula is mixed in with the HcG I bought online, so just one shot in the stomach is all I need, Yay!

This is well worth the money you’ll spend! It’s doable, it works and you see results daily. What I like best is that I feel amazing and can easily maintain my new self!
I did one round last summer and kept off the weight! I decided to do another round late this spring to take even more weight off and am happy as can be. I highly recommend In Shape… It’s a place that will help YOU do something for YOURSELF and feel great! I wish I would have done this years ago!

Bottom Line: My Criteria for a great weight loss program? Great weight loss! This program exceeded my expectations. I lost 30 lbs. in 5 weeks and have maintained it for over 2 months so far…
At first it was a Groupon that led me to InShape. B12 shots at a discounted price… I’d give it a try. I figured I’d sit stoically through the hard sell ‘weight loss consultation’ included in the price and wouldn’t be swayed. Of course, I wasn’t opposed to losing weight, I’ve just tried too many miracle diets.
The hard sell didn’t happen. Instead, Michelle presented the available services in what I’ve come to know as her genuinely enthusiastic — no pressure manner. I took the info; did my own independent research; recruited a friend to join me; and took the plunge. I’ve already shared the outcome but in addition, the program provides;
* Access and Support — As a perfectionist, I approached this with a neurotic optimism. InShape staff were available and responsive to any questions I had. I would call or e-​mail at any time and be assured a timely response that greatly diffused my anxiety.
* Behavior Modification — On the countdown program I learned a lot about my body, it’s response to food and most importantly, what my ideal calorie count looks like in real food.
Overall, I wouldn’t say the program is easy. It takes discipline. But InShape gave me all the tools I needed to pull it off. I had resigned myself to the belief that as a woman over 40, I was destined to stay at my undesired weight — nothing I tried worked. Now all of my clothes are too big. It’s a nice problem to have!

I was very hesitant to start another diet quest as the hundreds I’d tried before had not worked (yes, part of that was me not cooperating). A friend told me she was starting a program with InShapeMD and when she told me the details I was completely sold… on NOT doing it! But then I saw her amazing results in a very short period of time and it was on!
I had my consult, met the fantastic staff that works there. Michelle, the owner is super terrrific! Any anxious or pessimistic feelings I had about starting another failed adventure disappeared immediately. I became SO focused on making this work for me because they made it so easy for me to do! I lost exactly 20 pounds the first 14 days and was delighted! Tickled pink would be more accurate. I’ve been telling everyone who has any weight at all they want to lose about this place and their incredibly helpful staff.
I have since discovered other similar clinics that are much closer in proximity to where I live and work but wouldn’t think about leaving InShapeMD because this program works!
Its like taking a field trip whenever I visit them because I always feel satisfied and immensely supported. I still have a ways to go but I am confident in this program. I could spend all day writing about my many positive experiences with this clinic but I won’t. I think you get the picture. So let me start by saying that I am not actually overweight. I have about 5 – 10 lbs that I would love to see go away forever and my activity level needs to be kicked up, but that’s it.
So what brought me to InShape MD?
Answer: GROUPON!
The deal: (4) B12 injections, a month supply of Raspberry Ketone and a weightloss consultation and counseling thing (also a month long) all for $ 55!
B12 injections normally go for about $ 25 each, so this deal was already paying for itself. I didn’t know what raspberry ketone was but a quick google later told me that Dr. Oz loves it and it would help me be thinner and more fabulous– SOLD!
After purchasing I did some more googling to research InShape MD (which I’d never heard of) and let me tell you, what I found wasn’t pretty. They are a chain health and weight loss center like Weight Watchers only less emphasis on food and more emphasis on vitamins, hormone injections and other chemically related body altering weight loss things.
The reviews I read for the other locations were pretty horrendous. The repeated complaints were excessive up-​selling and poor customer service.
This wasn’t enough to phase me though since I was just in it for the supplements.
If I ended the month with more energy and a few pounds lighter, awesome! I wasn’t there for their kindness.
So I made my appointment and showed up the following day. I was greeted by Desirae who was helpful and super nice. She handed me some paper work to fill out and then took me to an examination area to take some vitals and give me my B’12 injection. The entire time she chatted with me and and just couldn’t have been sweeter.
After that I met with another lady (I can’t for the life of me remember her name!) to discuss diet. She was interesting because she didn’t have the typical warm customer service vibe (with lots of smiles and that phoney cheerleader «you can do it!» energy) but was more of a straight shooter, which I tend to respect. Our chat was short since I didn’t need to make any major adjustments to my diet.
There was one detractor however:
* I took a look at the meal plan and it seemed pretty basic. I think the aim here is to sell you on the supplements and injectables and I can’t help but question the long term effectiveness of that.
Anywhoo, I have a month to go and will update once complete!
