Katie Ruffalo of The Makeup Evolution is a professional makeup artist with over 10 years of experience. She specializes in Airbrush makeup for any event including weddings, special events, runway, editorial, television, makeup lessons and beauty styling. She is an NC Licensed Esthetician and extremely knowledgable in the skin care industry. Katie worked in a medical spa where she received extensive training on medical grade treatments. Her knowledge of skin care has helped her to understand and appreciate the skin from the inside out. She has received training from MAC Cosmetics where she spent about 5 years. She previously worked in NYC and has participated in Pro trainings. She received runway certification and has participated at Olympus Fashion week.

Her passion for makeup, beauty and skin care has led her to open a small business as a freelance makeup artist and serves the North and South Carolina areas but is based in Charlotte.

History

Established in 2012.

The Makeup Evolution began as Katie Ruffalo took all of the knowledge that she received over the past ten years or so and decided to take the leap into small business ownership. She wanted to create a brand to build on her own. She decided that she wanted to get out there and be on location doing what she loves– making people feel beautiful and confident.
