History
Established in 2015.
As with the birth of South Shore Shabby Shack, My Gypsy Soul began as a personal collection of vintage clothing, specifically cocktail, wedding, prom dresses from the 40’s thru 70’s. As the boutique inside The Market Place grew from just carrying artisan crafted jewelry, hand crafted writing implements, artisan created purses, soaps, candles, lotions & body oils & some designer purses and shoes, it was a logical step to add vintage clothing for ladies & teens. Perfect for a vintage market.
From there, my wife wanted to bring in new casual clothing too, in Florida living, comfortable & cool clothing, perfect for Tampa Bay’s balmy weather. My wife has an eye for fashion, decorating, etc. So, adding trendy & classic fashions to the boutique began. Also, Designer jeans, women’s & teens clothing, purses, jewelry, shoes, etc. In October, we decided to accept vintage & designer ladies & teen girls clothing on «consignment.» It’s getting the ‘word’ out to the public, that is challenging.

Business Owner
A clothing boutique was one of Jill, my wife’s dream and she opened an online boutique in 2009. That venture didn’t work. So, when I decided to open the Market Place, we started with a small boutique with mainly jewelry, hand painted wine glasses, sugar scrubs, candles, soaps, etc. and took in designer purses like Coach, Brighton, Nine West, etc. and decided to expand to vintage clothing, new casual clothing that would be perfect for a Florida lifestyle. The boutique items are a hit!
