History

Established in 1947.

MEI was founded by Max, Olen, & Thelma McCutcheon in 1947 as a regional provider of waste transportation services. In 1988, Calvin McCutcheon became President of MEI and has overseen the company’s largest era of growth. During Calvin’s tenure, MEI has become a company with two locations, 125+ employees, over 200 power units and its own cutting-​edge bio-​solids waste treatment facility.
