History

Established in 1986.

Our agency started in 1986 as a Nationwide captive agency. We operated as Nationwide until 2008 when we became an independent agency. Still representing Nationwide, but also many other auto, homeowner, commercial and life insurance companies. This gives our clients many more options to choose from so we can make sure we give them the coverage they need at a price that is affordable. Our staff is experienced, professional, and friendly and have all been with us on an average of ten years.

Business Owner

Paul Van Schepen has been in the insurance industry for 23 years. He has built Cobblestone Insurance Agency into a successful, reputable and thriving business. He holds an MBA and a Masters Degree in finance. He began his career in banking, reaching the position of executive Vice President of commercial banking. He was also CEO for several successful businesses, prior to entering the insurance business. He has extensive knowledge of finance, banking and insurance. He has won numerous awards in the insurance and finance industries and is considered an expert in financial risk management.
