I took my puppy Maltipoo here and was a little nervous about leaving him because there was a dog literally screaming behind a partition. Michelle told me that they just have to get used to the dryer but it sounded so loud — like a carwash dryer. I dropped him off, went home, and less than 45 minutes later I was called to pick him up. He needed the works: shampoo, cut all over, face shaved, anal glands, and nails. I was surprised that he was done so quickly. He was so traumatized and Michelle wasn’t very warm with him. She stated that he’d had «temper tantrums» and I just got the feeling that she wasn’t thrilled with her job. My dog was terrified to be put down or leave my arms for the rest of that day and most of the next. I decided to look for a groomer who is more gentle.

I lived in apple valley 4 years ago. I still brought my boy up there because of Michelle. She was just great with him. I sure miss going there.

Unlike Groomingdale“s, Kody did not come out sick and shaking/​traumatized, great prices here too. Michelle’s will go out of her way for any dog that has been thru hell at groomingdale’s and uses low dryers instead of forced high velocity torture dryers. Michelle respects dogs and you can trust her.

Our dogs love it here. We’ve been coming for awhile now and they always get the job well done!

We love this groomer. They were so kind and even though they were booked she squeezed in our two dogs. She had them done in two hours which is faster then any other groomer we have taken them to. We will definitely be going back.

Friendly groomers. I’ve brought my dog there 3 times now and he’s looked adorable everytime I’ve picked him up. I also love the price. It is very cost friendly. :)

First time trying this groomer after being to 3 other groomers. This one is closer, cheaper and the women are friendlier. My dog isn’t too friendly especially right off the bat it takes her a while to warm up but she took to Michelle right away and didn’t care that I left lol which was a nice surprise and made me feel comfortable leaving her with them. Michelle did a great job and my dog was happy which is what matters and why I have switched groomers. I had a little dog that needed nails cut and since I brought a dog for grooming the little dog was free. All around I am pleased with this place and will be returning! Thank you! oh and the bow they put on my dogs leash had ladybugs on it and ladybugs mean a lot to me since they remind me of my grandma so that was a nice coincidence!

Good experience! I tried Michelle after she came recommended to me by several folks at the Apple Valley dog park.
I called at around 10:30am on a Saturday asking about a grooming appointment for my small wire type hair terrier mix and was offered a trim, nail clipping, bath, and gland expression for 25 dollars immediately, or all of the former plus a whole clip for 30 the coming Wednesday.
I went down 20 minutes later that day to drop him off. Michelle was very courteous and seemed to enjoy interacting with my pup. She asked me about specifics of the grooming and I was told an hour and a half for the grooming. After about an hour and twenty minutes I was called to let me know I could pick up my dog.
Cooper looked very sharp when I got him and quite happy and very excited to see me as usual =) He smelled great and even had a little bow put on his collar.
I will definitely be coming back again.
As a forewarning, either the perfume or shampoo used on Cooper was a bit strong for my nose. While initially quite pleasing it bothered me a little when he sat in my lap for an extended period. I can be somewhat sensitive to perfumes and and added scents, however.
