I called Randy for a free estimate on my back yard. While there, I went ahead and had him do an estimate on my front yard also. I wasn’t quite sure what design I might like so Randy made some sketches and came up with a simple yet elegant design.
He introduced me to the HERO program which I had no idea about before. This enabled me to be able to afford getting both front and back yards done at the same time.
He and his crew were very professional. Randy kept me updated on the progress of the project. He took his time explaining to me what they were doing.
I am EXTREMELY SATISFIED with the results. Randy and his crew completely transformed my property. The work they did was just beautiful!!!
Afterwards, they cleaned up all the dirt and stuff, and even disposed of a piece of furniture that I wasn’t using anymore. I couldn’t have taken that thing to the trash by myself and Randy took care of it for me.
While artificial turf may be expensive, I believe it is worth it. I won’t have to mow it and I won’t have to water it. It will always be green and beautiful, and Randy and his guys did an amazing job installing it. My neighbors are jealous! :-)

So the rule of a good Unilocal review is to stay away from giving 1 and 5 star reviews. this is for the most part true a 1 star review should be reserved for the most egregious of follies and a 5 Star when there is no room for improvement and the product or service is a truly amazing.
In this case I wish I could give 10 stars as no rating system could fully capture the level of skill, professionalism, craftsmanship, and artistry displayed by Randy and his team.
My project started back in September with my city (Glendora) announcing a rebate for replacing grass with water saving landscaping. I was supper excited when I learned that I could have the city help pay for new landscaping however I was misled to believe I could only use one of 3 companies located in the city.
Long story short after a long delay and thousands of dollars wasted I opened my eyes and started to look for a new company. I was lucky to have found Randy. I will never forget my first call to him. I explained my problem and the time crunch I was in and he actually drove out in the rain to look at the project on a Saturday and started work the next week.
Randy has completely transformed my property and has added tons of new features that I had not even thought possible.
He also saved me more than half the original pricing I had received form other landscapers. The total value of my home according to a official appraisal has increased by $ 75,000. I am still in shock how much he did with an extremely reasonable price I paid Less than 25k
my family and I have used our yard more in the time since randy transformed in than we have in past 14 years we owned it.
One drawback is if you use Randy be prepared to have look-​i-​loos stopping to admire his work as I often will catch people stopped outside taking pictures of the front yard or walkers ringing our bell to ask who did the work.
I am thinking about charging Randy for leads. All that aside he is an amazing and trustworthy person and I am grateful to have found him.

Randy and his team did an amazing job making our home drought resistant. It looks beautiful and we enjoy sitting out in the backyard overlooking their beautiful work. Everyone asks where we got our yard done and I don’t want to tell them because I enjoy having the nicest looking house on the block! Secrets out!

I am a home owner who does a lot of extensive research whenever I purchase any big ticket item or have any sort of work done on my home. It is that research that led me to Mojave Curb and Turf.
I went into this project with the impression that I needed to stay local to get the best deal and highest quality of work. I had contacted three other companies to come over and give me a bid on some landscaping work that involved artificial grass and curbing. Each of these companies came over and presented their products very politely at first, but then became hostile and unprofessional once I stated that we would need time to compare their products and services with other companies in the running.
After three attempts, my wife and I were getting frustrated and called Mojave Curb and Turf with some reservations, because they were located quite a distance away in Apple Valley. I visited their website and was impressed with the description of services provided and photos of previous work they have completed.
I contacted Randy, the owner of Mojave Curb and Turf. We agreed on a mutual time for a consultation appointment, which he arrived promptly for a few days later. I told Randy that we already had three bids and were about to go with regular sod if things were not going to work out. Randy asked to give him a chance. I must say that in my line of work (Law Enforcement), first impressions are everything. My wife and I appreciated Randy’s personable and humble demeanor. He did not once bad mouth his competitors.
Randy proceeded to take measurements and then asked us what we wanted our backyard to look like. We wanted some basic turf installed in our backyard, but were not sure of the large planter area located at the rear of our property. Randy sat down with us and gave us a few designs which incorporated turf, curbing, foliage, and strategic lighting. We settled on a specific turf, curbing style, palm trees, and LED lighting. Everything sounded amazing to us, but from our previous experiences, we were bracing ourselves for the final price.
It was amazing! Randy came in way under his competitors! His price included everything and more! My wife and I were ecstatic with the price but we did not have much to go on in terms of Randy’s work. But my first impression of him won me over. I gave him the green light to proceed.
About a week later, Randy and his crew came first thing in the morning and began the demolition process. They were very professional, courteous, and most importantly, they were clean! After each work day, the guys cleaned up after themselves, which showed pride in their work. I periodically checked on their progress out of curiosity and was amazed at Randy’s meticulous craftsmanship. He is truly a perfectionist. He would rather spend an hour to make something right, rather than five minutes just to move on and do mediocre work. He and his team are all about customer service. During the course of the install, I made a few requests and changes to the design. Randy was very receptive to our wants and with a smile, always made us happy!
The final product is yet to come, but from the looks of it, it will be amazing. We are so excited for the finale and will post pictures on here. You will very rarely find a businessman who is dedicated, honest, and willing to go out of his way to make his customers this happy. I without reservation, recommend Randy for anyone’s landscaping projects! He is truly a diamond in the rough! You will not be disappointed!!!
