Paul’s Cedar Avenue Tire and Auto

Paid for a car wash at the gas pump, went inside and they were having a half off sale on car washes. I asked if I could get a refund and the answer was no. Horrible service. Misleading prices. Advertised gas prices are misleading. Need an oil change to get the deal. Avoid this station!

Paul’s mechanics tried to rip me off. My first clue was what Dameris (a clerk/​manager who has worked there for six years) said during small talk, «If I knew how to fix cars I would never let anyone else touch it, because you can’t trust them». Five minutes later, they told me my lug nuts on my passenger front tire were not coming off. They said they could keep trying to take them off but it would be $ 50 for 30 minutes, and $ 75 if it took 45 minutes. This seemed like a lot of money to take a tire off, so I told them not to do the work. They kept trying to get me to have them fix it by telling me it would be worse and more expensive the longer I let it go. Then when I was leaving, he said «I hope you don’t get a flat tire»! I then went directly over to Discount Tire. They proceeded to get the tire off right away. I decided to purchase 2 new front tires. I was then approached by the mechanic who said he could not get the driver side rear tire off, and that the lug nuts had seized up. They had to put the new tires on the passenger front and rear, instead of putting both new tires in the rear as they normally would. I will be going to Valley Auto, as recommended by the mechanic at Discount Tire, to have the lug nuts removed. I wonder what the mechanics at Paul’s were doing messing with with a completely different tire then I asked them to fix. The paperwork they gave me said they worked on the passenger front tire. Were they going to switch the driver rear with the passenger front, so I have to come back with another leaky tire? That’s my best guess. I will never be back, they tried to rip me off because I am a woman.

Stay away from Pauls cedar tire and auto its a scam. they charged me 120 dollars from an 8 dollar part that takes 10min to replace

Don’t bring your car here!!! Shoddy workmanship! They are out to rip off women! They replaced my power steering pump and ruined the underside of my car in the process. Pulled the splash guard down, didn’t even bother to unscrew it, then just left it there hanging and said nothing to me about it!!!

This place is awesome! And by «this place», what I mean is their car wash.
It’s one of those awesome car washes that uses the big blue squishies that scrub your car till it’s nice and clean. Plus, there’s a guy standing at the entrance of the car wash who hoses down your car for you before you go in. Sweet!
My car was sooooo shiny after visiting this place!
