Rainbow Yogurt

Rainbow Frozen Yogurt in Apple Valley. Nice spot for a refreshing frozen yogurt. They have a pretty good variety of flavorful yogurt. The Dole Pineapple brought me in, but I must admit the Taro was excellent. The place is spotless and clean bathrooms too.

Frozen yogurt is my favorite treat, even on rainy days. But this place is pretty gross. The flavors are off and the consistency is strange. To make matters worse, I hate that they want to handle your sample cups for you, I find it degrading and off putting.

Flavors are created by the owner and everything taste great fresh and always year round! If you happen to stop by and you see salted Carmel flavor ask for a sample it’s so delicious!

They have many wonderful flavors with many unique toppings. They are a very tidy and clean place that deserves 10 stars.

I love this place. I also like that the flavors are not always the same ones and that there are sugar-​free options.
Every time I go there’s a lot of people there.
Their rewards program is good too because you can use it at different spots.

Took the family here today after a swim and and the guy who worked was vary helpful to my 2 young girls who wanted to try a couple flavors. He was polite had great customer service skills, and even cracked a joke with one of my daughters about their silly spoons. We will be returning

If first impression is everything, then these guys stole my heart. I’ve been to froyo places before and swore I hated frozen yogurt. I decided to come in here when I was by the area and it was close.
I was delightfully surprised to see how many varieties of flavors they had!
Of course I eyeballed the German chocolate and a special one called high deserts secret (Which intrigued me) but my all time favorite is plain vanilla. So next step? Toppings! Fresh fruit??? I already love this place! Mango, strawberries, pineapple. They even had bobba! A super plus in my book. Many other little toppings like chocolate chips, sprinkles, and caramel. I had to be careful not to overwhelm my cup with too much.
Just making a side note about other customers coming in a little too close to closing time and complaining about it… I have just one thing to say to you, beggars can’t be choosers! The world doesn’t revolve around you or your mistakes. As well goes for people that come in with kids and get TEN cups, then deny until the pits of hell that they didn’t make a mess. Come on. We all know it was you.
ANYWAYYYS… The total for my hearty cup was 5.29 $ very well worth it since I was heartbroken when I realized i had already eaten it all. The people behind the counter are friendly and I think they’re doing a spectacular job. If any employee reads this, I just want you to know you’re very appreciated. Nubi? Idk what that is but I don’t care, they’re not on my mind. Only you. Will be coming back more often than not, I’m afraid.

Wow where can I begin, the cashier accused my daughter of making a mess (mess was already there). The owner comes out and tells me they have cameras. I was like why are you telling me this? «Because your kids made a mess», the owner exclaims Guess what, now I am not only not purchasing the 10 yogurts I already filled but I’m never coming here again I told them. Horrific customer service I’ve never been so embarrassed in my life. We went to Nubi’s instead and guess what? It’s also way cheaper!

Best yogurt that we have found in upper desert area. Owner is super nice and he always has the best flavors to try.

We walked in at 850 and asked if they were still open. Guy said they were. Lady kept looking at her watch and us like we were late. Guy made it awkward when asking to taste certain flavors.
We sat outside in the cold to eat so they could close. When I asked for a lid for to-​go cup at the door guy went back inside to get one. I was juggling 3 cups. You’d think he could’ve offered me a bag. When he came back with a box I dropped my cup! :(instead of offering to help me pick up my cup or clean up the mess, he just shut the door and locked it! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE in my book especially since we were the only customers there at the time.

We come here when we have a sweet tooth. I like the colorful atmosphere and the restaurant is always clean and well lit. They seem to be getting new flavors in and that’s good. They get my recommendation.

Froyo from here is the perfect way to chill out here in Apple Valley. The selection of toppings they offer is amazing! They don’t have too much fresh fruit, but they have many fruit flavored drizzles, whip cream, an other interesting choices!
The store is kept sparkly clean, and the one guy who was working the cashier was super-​friendly and nice!!!
They even gave us cute spoons! I look forward to my future visits
Also, be sure to try the High Desert Secret sorbet! It’s amazing!

I love this place!!! Right when we walked in the door we were greeted and felt very welcomed! The atmosphere is fun and exciting and the frozen yogurts were very tasty!!! The prices are very reasonable and it’s very clean and organized! We will definitely be coming back here regularly!

Stingy with the sample cups, had to specifically ask for a spoon, and pretty average frozen yogurt.
What can I say? I’ve come to expect a certain level of service in my frozen yogurt establishments. At this establishment, an elderly Asian woman that appeared to be a manager of sorts told me she had to assist me in sampling the yogurt. At Nubi and Menchies, the sample cups are there for the taking – just take a few, find what you like, and fill your cup. Here is was a process of sorts. After sampling two flavors, the woman disappeared.
Even though I’m surly, I didn’t want to disappoint baby girl (she gets almost as surly as her pops), so I went ahead and took a squirt of a couple flavors. After the stinginess with the cups, I felt equally as stingy with my money. Joke is on you, Rainbow!!!
After getting rung up, I was not given a spoon and was met with a less than pleasant response when I asked for one. Most places just leave a basket of them on the counter for customers to help themselves. Perhaps this is another one of their bureaucratic cost saving measures…
All in all, getting frozen yogurt here was more like getting my lunchtime ration at military school than I care to endure from a place that claims to «make people happy.»
Next time I’ll stick to the old standby, Nubi (watch for two-​for-​one coupons in the fliers), or that new Menchies place that is open in Hesperia.
It’s really too bad. I sense that this «Rainbow» place is a small, independently run business. Maybe they have problems with the neighborhood hoodlums coming in and snatching up all the sample cups.
Also, maybe the yogurt would have tasted better if it wasn’t drowned out with the taste of poor customer service. Oh well. None of this is my problem. I’ll go where the atmosphere is a little lighter from now on.

Best yogurt joint in town! Awesome customer service and delicious toppings! They even keep the cheesecake bites in the back so they stay cold! Love the fresh fruit as well!

We took our son and his friend here and they loved it!
The owner is great, its clean and has plenty of options.
The prices are more than fair, we got 4 big cups full and it came up to $ 15.
All flavors were great and I love that they have a sorbet for non dairy lovers like my husband, he had the high desert special and loved it!
Glad we have this so close to home, we’ll be back more often for sure!

Freshest and tastiest yogurt in the High Desert. The place is clean, with no kids asking you for smokes or money outside. These guys have 2 bathrooms too, not just one.

I tried Rainbow Yogurt for the first time today and was surprised to see people thought it was overpriced. I got my yogurt and toppings and it came out to $ 2.58, I think that is more than reasonably priced. The man who worked there (I am assuming the owner) was very nice. I will be returning again.
*They were also playing good music, always a plus for me.
