For a tiny airport, dining at the sole restaurant isn’t so bad! Every time I’ve had great service from the blonde haired lady who is the bartender/server/barista and probably cooks. The food is pretty cheap for an airport. Most sandwiches are between $ 6.99-$ 8.99. I would not call any of the food ‘fresh’, but it’s ok. Beers are standard airport pricing of $ 7. They have some solid Wisconsin craft beers such as New Glarus Spotted Cow and Leinenkugal varieties. There are electrical outlets at the bar and plenty of space for your luggage. The TV shows up to date flight statuses. Not a bad place to be when waiting to go home!

We got to the airport early and had some time to kill, so we stopped in here. A whole weekend in Wisconsin and I hadn’t had a brat or cheese curds(okay, I’d had ‘em, but not fried) so I got those. Sweetie got loaded fries; I think they called them«dynamite fries» or something. The fries were good– good fries, plenty of cheese, real bacon. The brat was okay; bun was blah and the sauerkraut was bland. The curds were frozen and just okay. They also had other quick grille stuff, snacks, and a bar(which was definitely the popular portion of the place.) Service was very friendly but a bit slow– they were understaffed. Prices were high, but hey, it’s an airport. I would recommend eating before you get here, but if you have to stop in it’s not awful.
