Specialties
We are the old school screen printer that you’re looking for!
We are screen printing shop located in central Appleton. We work with a top-of-the-line Riley Hopkins 4⁄4 Win Series manual print press. We currently support designs up to 13“x16″ and up to 4 colors on each side of clothing. We can also print anywhere on your shirts! We use the industry standard software (Photoshop, Illustrator & CorelDraw) to ensure your design comes out just the way you imagined!
Our major focus is customer service and a pressure-free experience. We always begin with free digital proofs for every customer to ensure that you are happy with the design. From there you will receive fair (aka below average) prices and above-average quality.
Finally, we create and print our own designs as a creative outlet. Our clothing is available through our web store, in our storefront and in local independent retailers such as Scooter G Sports in Appleton!
History
Established in 2010.
Silly Toast began as a hobby with a DIY screen printing machine in mid-2009, but quickly became a serious venture. We decided to take the plunge and purchase commercial-grade printing equipment. We moved from a living room to an auto repair shop stall without A/C or a bathroom. As we began spending numerous evenings printing, it became clear that it was time to upgrade our space.
In September of 2011, Silly Toast moved into the Edison Center in the flats of Appleton. Business was constantly growing as word of our customer service and quality spread throughout the Fox Valley. At this point, both Tom and Aaron (business partners) were still working full-time and printing during nights and weekends.
In march of 2013, Tom decided to take yet another plunge and quit his job in order to focus on Silly Toast full-time. It was a very frightening prospect, but one that had to happen in order to keep our customers happy while still spending some time with our families!
Meet the Business Owner
Tom D.
Business Owner
Silly Toast began over 2 years ago as a hobby. As we began getting bigger jobs, it became clear that it was time to take the next step. My business partner and I purchased new professional equipment, found an empty garage stall and began phase two!
Today I am a happily married man with a son on the way. Somehow I find time to work my full-time job all day and then screen print all night. The plan is to commit to Silly Toast full-time next year so that I can spend time with my wife and child.
I always have an eye to the future while I’m trying to make today as good as possible. As I grow, as my family grows, so will our family business.
