Great service from Ability Repair Heating & Air! I was very satisfied with the very courteous scheduling of the appointment. Arrangements had to be made to obtain access to the unit on the condo roof. Joey performed a system diagnosis — repaired and cleaned the air conditioner. He is very knowledgeable and also provided education about the system. Joey is the best!

I was so impressed by Ability Air. I called to make an appointment and Joey arrived on time to make the service call. He was professional and arrived on time. He quickly figured out what was wrong with my central air and was very quick to fix the problem. I am so happy I found these guys. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs repair work done. Rodney came by today to fix the heater in my apartment, as the pilot wouldn’t stay lit. Not only did he fix the problem, but he took the entire thing apart, vacuumed up all the built-​up dust and dirt, and replaced a part that was no longer to code.
Super friendly, showed up right in the middle of the time-​frame they scheduled with us, and left with things in working condition and cleaner than he found them. :)

It’s been about two months since we got our AC replaced and we are absolutely satisfied. Even before the installation we were very well-​informed on all the details of the works he would do and recommended. There was no surprises and the price was reasonable.
On the day of the installation, I really had nothing to worry about but to sit back and relax. They knew what they were doing and I knew everything that they were doing because I was so well-​informed. I only came out because I was nosy…
I would recommend Ability Air to anyone. In fact, I already did, and am doing it again!

Marcus came out to fix our AC unit on a hot Saturday afternoon. He quickly diagnosed the problem, got it working w the available replacement parts. He didn’t try to gouge us, didn’t push for work that is not necessary. He even offered to check with the AC unit’s maker to get replacement parts if it’s still under warranty. Seems like a honest business man and a very competent technician. I would recommend his service for anyone with a/​c trouble.

Joey was very helpful and was quick and prompt for the service call on my house. I was able to call and get an appointment on the same day. I was very satisfied with the prompt service. I would hire again if issues with my AC.

We had our heater stopped working during the Holidays. I called our previous serviceman, but he was on vacation. As the weather was so cold this year, I decided to look through Unilocal!Here I found Ability Heating & Air!
I called early morning on 12÷30÷14 and left a message. Markus called me back within an hour, and send Rodney over. He is a pleasant person, with sufficient knowledge about heating ad A/​C. Within a couple of hours he fixed the problem!
We had really great experience with Rodney and Markus. We will recommend them anyone who need their Heating and A/​C fixed.

So glad to have found these folks! We have an old house with a floor furnace that needed to be retrofitted to comply with safety code. We felt that Rodney went over and above what was expected, and the best part is he didn’t try to gouge us with additional cost and whatnot, even after doing an extra setting for us to make our lives easier, which we thought would cost additional. Thank you, Rodney! It’s so comforting to know that there are still homegrown, honest-​to-​goodness folks out there!

So, our air conditioner goes out on Friday at 11am on what was reportedly going to be the hottest weekend on record in Monrovia. And our regular a/​c company says the first appointment they have is between 8 – 9 on Monday. Monday! All weekend without air conditioning? Not an option.
I called several other services that said basically the same thing as the first one… All weekend without air conditioning? Not an option.
The next call was to Ability Heating & Air. Markus, the owner, answered and said he had a full day but could be there around 6:00. Yes! I booked the appointment and said we’d be waiting for him. He arrived just after 6:00 — he was running just a bit late, no surprise on such a crazy-​hot day. His first guess was that it was likely a failed capacitor and confirmed this after testing it. He had the part on his truck, replaced it, filled up the refrigerant, tightened the valves and put new caps on them. He explained everything he was doing, answered all my questions and was a really nice guy to top it all off.
I really can’t recommend his service highly enough. Fair rates, great service and a great guy! He definitely earned our repeat business.

Amazing service provided by Rodney and Carlos. They changed my filters and added refridgerants to our units. Our place is so nice and cool now!

Since the summer weather arrived early and my 20 year A/​C stopped working I decided to consult with my usual A/​C repair man and a Costco recommended company, but I was not satisfied with the $olutions offered, so I decided to contact some companies with good/​great reviews listed on Unilocal.
One of them was this one and a few minutes after leaving my voicemail, Markus called me back and offered the details and info I needed to meek a decision which looked as the best $olution to me.
After a few days he came to my place to inspect the job and again I was impressed by his professionalism, so we came up with an installation date.
His crew members were also very good and professional, so I recommend his company (already did to one of my neighbors…152 to go) and I’m looking forward to a comfortable summer and a lower electricity bill!

Our Heating wasn’t working so after a long search I found Ability Air, Markus was able to come the same day and fix the problem, however a few days later we set-​up a new thermostat and the heating wouldn’t start again.
It was Saturday at 4:55 pm, so I knew that it was a long shot to get him on the phone to trouble shoot it .But to my surprise not only did he offered to help me he actually came over and he wired the thermostat correctly and in no time at all we had heat and everything was fixed!
He didn’t charge any extra for coming the second time!
We highly recommend Ability Air, its very difficult to find a company that is reliable, honest and professional and we found that in Ability Air.

I have known Markus for a long time and consider him an expert at his trade. The services provided by his company over the last 5 years has been extraordinary. He is also very reasonable and can troubleshoot just about any type of A/​C — Heating repair job. Just had a full A/​C unit replaced which took him only half-​shift to finish and complete at a very great price. Keep up the good work and will look to Ability for our future heating and cooling needs.

Our a/​c stopped cooling, so I made a couple of calls to find someone that would help get it working again right away. Markus called back promptly after I left a message. He said he was going to be in the area and could stop by on his way to another a/​c repair job. So glad he did. He was a true gentleman, identified what was needed, performed the work and quickly got our house cooling down. Good thing, since the temperature was 100 deg and we were just about to leave for a place that was much cooler. The cost was very reasonable. I’d definitely use him in the future!

Just had the A/​C repaired yesterday on our new home with Ability. Was referred to them by our real estate agent. Were on a tight budget and was afraid of how much I’d have to spend. Mark from Ability came down and check out our unit. Saw the problem (lots of stripped wires) and took care of it within 1.5 hours. Price was more than fair and I even offered a tip which he declined. Just asked us to refer Ability to our friends. Great experience overall, this positive Unilocal review is much deserved
