Arcadia Smog Test Only Center

I called around different smog test places before coming here and it seemed like $ 40 was the standard price around the area. The guy was really straightforward and efficient. The price was $ 40 if you used the Unilocal check-​in deal (cash only) and $ 38 if you got the coupon from
(cash only).
Came to the establishment on a Wednesday afternoon and there was no line. Got everything done in 10 minutes. Didn’t even need to bring reading material because the wait was so short! I would come here again for future smog tests.

Didn’t bring the coupon but familiar with the
coupon to say ‘that’s fine’ (in cash only). Ended up paying around $ 38 dollars for the smog check an hour before their listed closing time without an appointment, which is really good for me on a short time schedule.
He had very straight forward questions.
1. What car do you drive?
2. Is this for change of ownership or renewal? (After having my registration for him)
3. Do you have a driver license?
4. Please sign two copies: a copy for him and me.
5. May I have your keys?
Transaction done under 3 minutes! I love how straight to the point he was.
Would’ve given the place a five star but because of favoritism over another guy, I placed a star under. He lined up after me and ended up having his car done before mine since they clicked right away or perhaps he didn’t carry a coupon. Not sure what it was but verbally:
20 – 30 minutes done for my Camry.
10 – 15 minutes done for the guy after me with a truck.
But it’s okay because his truck failed the test lol. Definitely coming here for future smog checks because of the ease and fast transaction.

Fast, great service. I went on a Friday morning and there was no wait. I was in and out in 10 min. I have gone here the last 3 times (which I guess equates to 6 yrs).

This place is after your money! What a joke…
They could’ve easily warned me that my check engine light was on and that my car probably wouldn’t have passed smog (I unfortunately didn’t know at the time), but they decided to take my money anyway. I would’ve appreciated the honesty, gotten it checked out and come back here… Instead they didn’t tell me and failed my test.
Then when I came back just a couple of days passed the «10 day free grace period» (the work I had to do in my car took a while), they charged me again for the re-​test. The only reason why I didn’t give them one star was because they gave me a small discount the second time around. Go somewhere else.

Very honest and straight forward establishment. You can get a discount not coupon from their website or by checking in. It’s at the intersection of La Porte and 1^st Ave.
the service is very quick and its lot faster than my last trip to a different facility.
The manager or owner was really helpful and the price was exactly the same as was advertised and there was no fine prints.

Pretty fast, no wait, and a pretty good discount ($ 20 cash only) when you Unilocal them. So subsequently, this is my first Unilocal ever… I recommend this place.

I came in the mid afternoon & only one vehicle in front of me! Very pleasant interaction with the mechanic. Took my Unilocal coupon with no problem but told me I’d need to pay cash which fortunately I had prepared for prior to coming in. Will return!

Very fast and efficient. No wait. I came at 9:30 AM and used the Unilocal coupon. the technician was very friendly. I really enjoyed our conversation about xc. His daughters do soccer and run. But the service was amazing. Less than 15 minutes. Make sure you have your paperwork and its quick!

Quick and easy. Expect a slight wait with one bay, but only takes 15 minutes a car so pretty speedy. With the check in 20 off it is cash only, so expect about $ 40 cost in cash.

Come early in the morning; before 10am. There aren’t many people here. And the process only takes about 20 min. Visually it isn’t the most appealing but the service is good & the people are friendly.
I came in at about 9am, met with the tech, talked shop for a few min, told him about my truck (ie check engine light, broken front doors, etc), and brought in a coupon. My total didn’t exceed $ 40. I would definitely recommend this smog test center!!!
