Cons!!! Bought what I thought was a $ 20 deal. Said it was a special and can use coupon any time. This was in the ma in front of their studio. They closed and my $ 20 are gone. They should be sued!!! They got so many people that day, they made so much money. Sad.

Love the pics! However its a bit pricey… if i get a good amount of money i will take pics there again. They are great help and are enthusiastic during the whole shoot.

I like the staff here are super friendly, they played with my baby to keep her smiling and make the photo session very fun. The pictures has good quality. Overall we have a good experience at Attraction Studio.

If you need baby pics but don’t want to pay the ridiculous prices of the high end studios, this is the place to go. I was hesitant at first because I wanted particular modern looks for my newborn and I doubted the mall studio would get them. Wrong. I showed them sample looks and my baby never looked so good! The variety of shots, the adorable choices for backgrounds and the most patient photographers (trust me, I had to stop and feed my fussy baby a few times not to mention diaper changes). I never felt rushed with my baby and I got to get involved with poses for my baby. Comfortable environment. I even came back for Christmas pictures for my baby. This is the go-​to spot for us.

This place is what it is. so it gets a mediocre 3 stars. You don’t go to these kinds of studios expecting top notch celebrity photography kind of deal… you know what you’re expecting and you get just that. The photographers were nice, the woman at the front desk (a manager I think) was really helpful. They got some nice shots of my daughter, who usually hates smiling for the camera. All in all it was a positive experience, but the prices are steep for just decent pictures and they definitely look… nice. Not great. but nice.

I totally got trick by this place!!! Beware! We brought our lil one to take pics hoping to have a good family album but guess what? I only took one picture home :(that one picture cost us $ 100. Seriously one picture for $ 100??? We took 10 pictures but not allow to keep any of 9 if we didn’t pay thousand bucks? Got tricked!!! Dishonesty!!! We just walked by n tricked us to take pic for a good price but ended up… Will never forget!

I’m kinda like a 3.5, but the pictures came out nicely, it brought the creativity inside of me, but OVERPRICED (unless you’re willing to pay for it like me). 150 different photos, chose my 13 to be retouched, 3 of them printed out for about $ 650. An extra $ 300 for all photos to be on a CD… should only be $ 100 or less.
I would only recommend one thing. If you want to come here, you will want to have lots of money. It is about $ 50 per photos to be retouched. I loved my experience here because that is what their website expects to give to their clients. I had an appointment and their staff were awesome. The makeup part was okay. It is very OVERPRICED. it is like as if one or two photoshoots they do a day is enough to supplement their daily life. You don’t have to bring 3 outfits, that’s only if you’re feeling it. even getting all the photos on a CD is overpriced. One can just find settings in their local area and get makeup done by someone unless you can do yourself and take photos of yourself but with a DSLR camera. Outside lighting is the same as studio lighting.

I really wish i read the Unilocal reviews before i went to this place. I had exact same experience as Ynot and few other Unilocalers. I prefer straight and to the point reviews, but I felt so cheated and angry when I left this place that I can’t just say «avoid it!»
Much like others I bought a Groupon to this place and was very excited when I scheduled my appointment. The staff seemed very friendly, and I didn’t mind the $ 20 deposit charge. The Groupon option that I purchased allowed for a make-​up, hair and 3 outfit changes. The make-​up was just so-​so and honestly I could have done a better job myself. Hair was similarly just so-​so. The photographer was okay, suggested some poses, played with lighting; overall the photo shoot itself was not bad. It took me about 3 – 4 hours to be done, which is fine given the amount of time spent on prep and outfit changes.
Then came the best part — pricing for the pictures. I almost fell off the chair when the girl wrote down the number. Of course, I didn’t expect to get the pics for free, but $ 2,500!!! They must be out of their mind! The number is completely outrages! I didn’t want to argue, so just got one picture that was included in my Groupon and left. I was pissed because I spent half a day there, and the pics were actually not bad. Later that day somebody from the studio called me back and told me some lie how they had a «special» last week for Groupon customers, and that they would honor it for me and can get all the pictures for $ 250. Which I did… Now reading other reviews I feel stupid that I caved in and paid that much. Apparently I could’ve bargained, and probably cut the price even further.

Agree with Kim Y. Review. Stay away! Do not come here. If u have a groupon do not pay more. If wanna get additional pix do not say yes to the price they tell u. Cut it down at least in half. Get the CD as lowest price as u can. U can do the prints somewhere else. My wife and i almost fell off the chair when they told us the whole package was $ 3500. The worst lie they told us was if we dont decide on getting the pix the same day they will delete all the pix. U dont need to have business degree to know that does not make any sense and is a stupid lie. But i was too tired to argue. We ended up getting the CD for $ 90 after hrs of them changing the pricing on the package. The photo shoot was just ok. The pricing experience was worst than buying a car. Btw i was told the photo shop in west covina mall is the same owner and has the same practice.

I agree with the previous Unilocaler Diana H. My sister got me a gift through Grupon to get maternity photos taken. I called Attractions and scheduled an appointment. I was told by Wendy (I believe that was her name) that they require a 24hr cancellation notice and they charge a $ 20 cancellation fee. I scheduled my a appt for a week later. The very next day I noticed that there was a $ 20 charge on my CC from Attraction Studio that I «did not authorize». I called & spoke with the manager Jessica. I told her that I did not authorize anyone to charge my CC. She stated that there was a misunderstanding??? I replied with «there is no misunderstanding? Wendy specifically stated that it was for cancellation purposes with out a 24 hr notice & my appointment wasn’t until a week.
Jessica did not make the situation any better she just kept making up excuses, and she also told me that i would get my $ 20 back if i didn’t purchase any pictures, or that the fee would go towards any purchases. I was not satisfied… I wanted to cancel my appointment but my sister had paid $ 60sum dllrs for this groupon thing and they had already charged my CC $ 20.
I went in for my appointment and lets just say the makeup was not «Professionally» done, I could of done a better job myself, the hair was also not professionally done, i could of just gotten the curling iron and just curled it my self. It had no volume just curls and they were tight curls so it made me look like «Shirley Temple». I was asked by Wendy if I wanted fake eyelashes for $ 10, I said yes and «LORD BEHOLD BEWARE»! I assumed i would pay for everythig at the end. Lil did i know i would get harrased throughout my entire photoshoot for the $ 10dllrs. Wendy kept reminding me of the fee, and i still didn’t get it until my Best friend got annoyed and pulled out a $ 10 bill and just gave it to her to shut her up!
After i was done Wendy made it very obvious that she was upset that i did not want to purchase any photos. I only picked the one that was through groupon. Wendy even went to the extreme to keep asking my Best friend and my sisters of how they liked the pictures and didn’t even acknowledge my opinions. I finally had to tell her I didn’t like anay of them and that i was only taking one… She was furious and went over to another co worker and they were whispering about me. Talk about unprofessional!.. Sorry that i looked like crap in my pics because my make up and hair was not professionaly done, this was more for like a simple school dance look. I should of walked in with my own hair and make up done. The photographer was really nice but needed more experience some of the angles she shot did not look good and i looked weird. SO with all of that being said I didn’t get my full $ 20 back they charge u stupid lil fees, there fore it wasn’t really a gift because i still had to pay out of my own pocket.

I took my siblings and my mom here to get family portraits done as a present for my mother. I had a Groupon deal which made a huge difference since the prices are a little steep.
My sister, mother and I all got our hair and makeup done. The makeup was a little extreme for us since we aren’t used to wearing that much makeup but the extreme makeup works well for photos. The makeup artists were very friendly and listened to us when we asked them to tone it down a little.
The photographer was really funny and did a great job of making us feel comfortable in front of the camera but the poses were a little odd… for example, there is one shot where my older brother is basically straddling my younger brother…
Overall the service was fantastic and we had an enjoyable experience.

We bought the mother’s day special for around $ 90. It included make-​up and hair for my mother and a 16 X 20 print. I just picked up the picture and CD today and the pictures came out great. Yes, the CD was an extra cost but the pictures came out well so my parents wanted to get it. However, we didn’t feel pressured at all to buy anything beyond what we came in for.
My mom was happy with how Berlin did her hair and make-​up. Jimmy made them feel comfortable during the shoot (especially my dad, who is usually reluctant to take pictures, let alone smile). He got some great shots of my dad. Heidi, the manager at the time, was very friendly and helpful.

I would give it 0 if I could.
I came here for my maternity shoot, and they scheduled me 10am on Sunday. I was there on time and then was told that the makeup artist had something on going and couldn’t make it on time. They tried to explain this never happened before, and I understood. It’s all right for me. They told me that there was another makeup artist was on the way here and should arrived within 15 minutes, but she arrived at 11:15, before I was told her starts time on Sunday is 11:00 so she should come before 11:00 because I said I would leave if she didn’t appear at 11:00.
And someone started doing my hair at 11:10, and it was horrible. He straightened my permed hair, and didn’t even style it. The tools and cosmetics that the makeup artist used were terribly dirty. As a professional makeup artist, this is what I CANNOT tolerate. If I knew this was what I gonna suffer, I would do my hair and makeup myself and save more time.
I only did two outfits because I was so tired from waiting and standing (I was 36 weeks at that time). Of course I lost my tolerance and don’t want to do any shooting. When I took a peek of those pictures, OMG, they are horrible. My husband and I couldn’t pick out even one good picture. Finally, we just compared those pictures and pick 6 of them.
The worst thing is price. We wanna have our picked images on CD. And for 6 pictures and a 12 by 16 print out they charged me $ 300! And I was told the 12 by 16 is free for me because of the delay! All right, I just didn’t have time to deal with it, so I paid and left.
The pictures supposed to be done with in 2 weeks. I waited more than 3 weeks and hadn’t receive a call. Today I walked in and asked them if my pictures are ready, I was told that they couldn’t find the CD, so I waited 40 minutes to get my CD re-​burned, and there were no customers in the store. They just wrapped my CD in a piece of paper, and had me signed pickup sheet.
This is my experience of shooting in this store. So I say, don’t go if you don’t wanna waste your money and time.
BTW, the 12 by 16 picture they gave me is just a picture with a cheap cardboard, don’t even have a frame. I could do it myself with no cost.

My family and I finally decided to take our very first family photos due to the awesome and magnificent spectacular GROUPON.
They suggested that the family to bring three outfits for the photo session. I, myself, panicked. I didn’t know what to wear, what to bring, how to pose, how to do this and how to smile… Anyway, it all ended well. Except that we didn’t get serviced until close to 6pm.
Make-​up took about 45 minutes for three ladies and then the whole photoshoot took… i don’t know how long, but we didn’t leave the studio until 9PM!!!
We brought our pompom and he was such a perfect gentleman that the shoot went smoothly.
Overall, pricing SUCKS! It seriously cost me an arm and an leg for one photo… let alone 6! They honestly get you from the GROUPON DEAL, but they FINISH with a BANG! I spent $ 500 on one printout photo and the next 10 on CD that’s retouched and the rest… prob another 10 untouched! OML (oh my lord). Lordy lordy lordy!
I had to just dig into my scrawny wallet and pull out my credit card and SWIPE! There goes, literally, half my paycheck!
But…Family Photo Session Number ONE is special. I… GUESS, it is worth the $_​_​_​$
BTW…the photo I chose to blow up to mount on the wall… it was NOT CENTERED and looked AWFUL! I was so Pi$$ed. Had to call back and give them a piece of my mind a week after I picked up the photos, since it was Mother’s Day weekend, I didn’t want to ruin the weekend. The guy on the phone says that they’ll fix it… hopefully I can get into the studio to get that fixed ASAP. It’s upsetting looking at that unCENTERED photo. My left arm was CUT off!

Passion with precision!!! The studio is very welcoming, clean, exudes a professional atmosphere and I am completely satisfied with the results from both my photo shoots!
Make-​up room is very highly equipped with lighting and it has that Hollywood ambiance which would be great for models. If you’re into the hair and make-​up artist shootings this is the station where you would want to set-​up and make your self feel like a Diva! I’m far from a model and I absolutely felt like one! (not joking)
Jr and Michael are absolutely brilliant, talented, funny, perfectionist, very professional and they have a great eye for detail! The synergy between them really translates to the best poses, lighting and shots. They have a passion, a drive to produce quality photographs that you can see. Their creativity thus far still never ceases to amaze me!
We had 2 different sessions and each consisted of an hour and a half to a two hour session. This included my 3 different outfits I had to try on I felt like an artist putting on a concert! It was so fun and easy and just made me feel so welcoming! And did I happen to mention I was sober and I wasn’t being shy for once? Yup imagine that!
After the shoot, I took a little break and when I came back to see the photos, they had already been uploaded and were waiting for me in a very professional presentation with the perfect selected music to make my session just that much easier and comfortable!
My business has increased significatntly and has helped me a lot to have professional photographs and not just some photo shopped iPhone shots! Also our family photo shoot has been the talk of the year. Every single family member now has a beautiful family portrait hanging everywhere it seems like! I know they do it all from babies to weddings to couples, families, kids, pets, and I’m sure divorces as well! As long as you’re human or animal I’m sure they can photo shoot ya ;)
And of course the question you guys have all been thinking about… prices…let’s just say the quality of pictures I bought from them are priceless! Seriously they were priced just right and very affordable! Did I mention I was so happy with the studio that I had to go in there twice and take my entire burrito family the second time? Yes it was that serious! Lol

I noticed on here earlier and it just sounds like some « Unilocalers» with counted reviews and no friends just gave a crappy review just because they ran out of money in the end or got cold feet! If you can’t afford good quality and service then I HIGHLY suggest you stick to your disposable cameras! Not trying to be «MEAN» just very much dislike shit talkers who knock businesses down over a money issue they had on their own or simply over something that could have been discussed! ok first let me say our final pictures came out great and the staff was very friendly. Our photographer was very good as well and made us feel very comfortable.
That being said, i will start my not so amazing review of this place. My wife and i had the idea to have some photos taken of our newborn son who at the time was about a week old. We didnt wanna have him out long and/​or around many people so we figured lets go in on a weekday early and hopefully it wouldnt be too busy. We called and made an early afternoon appointment on a thursday. We wanted to make sure the baby would be sleeping and cooperative in the pictures so before we left we fed him and prepped him so he was ready to go.
We got there and had to wait over an hour before we got into the studio and set up for photos. By this time my son was awake and ready to eat. When he was finally ready to go he was wide awake, thankfully the pictures came out amazing, but i do wish there could have been a little more creative input from the photographer. On the first few shots, there was a huge thick seam down the center of the backdrop, when i asked the photographer he assured me it would be taken out. When we got home i noticed this was not done.
We received one free 8×10 print for our extensive wait, and got all the other images on disc. When we went back to pick up the print we noticed it was obviously oddly cropped, no big deal but they acted like they couldnt tell, come on if you cant tell something like that doesnt look right, go get a job at hot topic or something.
In the end we had to come back for the print that we wanted AND for a new disc with the images Photoshopped that had a huge seam in the background of the picture.
So in the end unless you are a high school girl that wants to take some risk-​ay photos for her bf then i would avoid this place.

Photos are preserved memories, so I decided to get some professional ones done before the wrinkles take over my face and maybe some day I can show it to my grand daughter what a hottie I once was. –Vain grin–
Photographer I had was absolutely amazing, sweet, professional and funny. My make-​up lady was also very skilled, did my make-​up and hair just the way I like it. The front desk staff is disorganized, so make sure you followup and voice your needs. They are willing to work with you.
