History

Established in 2002.

Dr. Prema, with 22 years of clinical experience, has dedicated her life to taking care of women with a personal touch. She combines expertise with compassion to deliver personalized care of the highest quality.

Dr. Prema is a Board certified Obstetrician/​Gynecologist and Urogynecologist, who specializes in Incontinence issues with women. She completed her internship at Yale university, and her residency at Mount Sinai hospital in New York. Dr. Prema also completed her fellowship in Urogynecology at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida. Since her board certification, she had worked at various clinics in Florida and in northern California. For the past eight years, Dr. Prema runs a specialty clinic, «The OB/​Gyn and Incontinence Center» in Arcadia CA. She is a sought out specialist in performing minimally invasive surgeries for incontinence and various pelvic disorders. She is a frequent speaker on women’s health issues specifically in incontinence and Urogynecology.

Dr. Prema received her comprehensive medical education in India where she was exposed to women’s health issues in a diverse setting. After the medical school, she came to the US and completed her residency at prestigious institutions like Yale University and Mount Sinai. She also received fellowship training in Urogynecology at Cleveland Clinic. During her intensive training in New York city hospitals, she gained valuable experience in handling various types of conditions and diseases.

Dr. Prema has been practicing medicine for the past 22 years. She is a highly skilled urogynecologist and gynecologic surgeon. She has spent many years in extensive post-​fellowship training in order to achieve special expertise in advanced techniques to treat urinary incontinence as well as pelvic organ prolapse, advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, abdominal and laparoscopic surgery for fibroids.

Dr. Prema lives with her husband and her two daughters.
