Cheap drinks, good music, friendly people, and a pool table. What’s not to like?

A great lil place, except the for the cigarette smoke, The bartender was friendly and the drinks were great! The atmosphere was relaxing, plenty of parking in the back.

Probably one of my favorite bars. I remember coming in a while back for the first time and instantly felt welcomed in. Now that it’s almost five years ago since my first time here, I always bring this bar up when friends are in town and want to grab a drink. The bartenders are very kind and welcoming, the drinks are at a great price and the people are usually very welcoming and nice. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

I hate this place with a passion, primarily due to the fact that I live down the street and that they insist on blasting loud drunk karaōke at 1 am, on Monday mornings. Now, I hate to sound like a grouch, but people have work the next day! They could easily cut the noise by a half by either closing the door or turning it down a smidge, but nope! Now, besides being a neighborhood nusiance, the drinks are standard, both in quantity per serving and price for your average dive. The people are… interesting. Its an Interesting use of a Sunday night if you are either a raging alcoholic or just really open minded. Did I mention it reeks of cigarettes? Not that I mind, I’m a smoker myself, but a turn off for some. Note that this is technically illegal in California, but as with the noise disturbances these guys are constantly cranking out, management doesn’t seem to give a rat’s a**. I’m honestly suprised that this place is still open, but hey, I guess the existence of this place is like that of the anus and colon. Most people steer clear of it, but it plays a vital role, the storage of waste product, and the occasional«experimentation». It can be fun, but in the end you’re still dealing with an a** ;P Seriously, you guys can have fun without making everyone not in your bar within a mile radius miserable! Real simple stuff.

We went to this dive bar on the recommendation of the guy at the front desk of our hotel. It was also within walking distance. So plus there. Haha. It’s a pretty small place. I think a lot of other people who were staying close by had the same idea. Everyone looked like business people or non-locals. The bartender was super nice and friendly. I wish I remembered her name but she was new to California and from Florida, I think. We asked for a Vegas bomb. Not my idea. Haha. But it had whiskey, schnapps and red bull, I think. The bartender actually knew what it was and made it for us. We had two rounds of this. Prices aren’t too bad. I think each drink was $ 6 — 7. Then we played some shuffleboard. They have a huge table in the back. It was a lot of our first times playing so not sure if we followed the exact rules but it was still fun. Super divey and not fancy at all but chill place to hang out and grab a drink.

Came here with a friend last night hoping for a good night filled with stiff drinks, deep convos, and gossip. This bar did not disappoint. We ordered a vodka soda and jameson/ginger ale and the total was $ 8.00. Surely this meant the drinks were super watered down. Not even close! They were perfect. The atmosphere is classic divey, complete with a jukebox that has a decent lineup(I was able to find Rihanna’s Man Down, which I didn’t think was possible). The crowd is mostly older and white. It’s the perfect place to just chill and talk to a friend. My ONLY gripe was that the music was a tad loud and we found ourselves yelling a bit lol Shoutout to the bartender Angel, by the way! She was the magician behind the bar, making us really great drinks and she was sweet and funny. :D I shall definitely be back!

This is a dive bar… don’t forget to bring cash! CASHONLY. I like this place because it’s dark… smokey and it opens super early! Breakfast of champs at a great price. This is where I meet up with my alcoholic friends. All the bartenders have been great. And this is not a place to hook up unless you’re into senior citizens.

Sitting at the bar being forced to buy a soda or $ 2 bottle water because they won’t just give me a glass of water… WTF? I explained to the bartender that I’m the DD and that’s the reason for me not drinking, she still made me buy a soda. I have NEVER been forced to buy a water at any other bar to be allowed to stay. This is ridiculous! I suppose I would understand if the bar was full and I was taking the place of drunk. This is the most obsurd rule. Bars should be encouraging DD customers instead of driving them and their party away. I won’t return to this bar again and I’ll keep my drunks away too

I was meeting a guy in person for the first time and he chose this place. I like the fact that it is close to my house. There wasn’t a bouncer at the front door, which is cool. The place is small, but it’s full of charm. The drinks are super cheap and there is parking in the back. Michelle, the bartender that night was super nice. Even though she forgot about my water, she did come out to my table with the water and apologize. It wasn’t super busy for it being on a Saturday night. They also have a jukebox, which does add to the mood of the bar. Overall, it was a good date

short bar hop along huntington… enter and up the stairs… a cloud of smoke… almost every patron smoking a cigarette inside. hot box of white haze… puffing away along the bar stools… drinker’s hall of fame must have not received the notice about the smoking ban in california… in and out fast…

I think that anybody who gives this place one star has a stick up their ass. No bar, anywhere, will you meet people more accepting of who you are. Leave your attitude at home. No one here is any better than anyone else and that’s what makes this place cool.

I love a good dive, but this one is all around meh. OK pour, decent service, strange but friendly(mostly) crowd. I’ve seen a couple of fights break out here. None that effected my party, but always kind of a strain on the atmosphere. The shuffleboard and a few friends that love it will be the only thing to take me back here. On the smoking, again, it ranges from Chimney to Vegas hotel room. Sometimes my eyes are watering, and sometimes it’s not bad.

Just wandered in the other morning on St. Patty’s day to get some beads and they had a cute little potluck type table going on with crockpots and trays of corned beef, potatos, bread, and other homemade goodies. Cute. Cash only. Bring the cash, because the little ATM machine rapes you. Only a couple of months ago, I recall shots being a dollar off from 7pm to 10 or something. Pool table. Shuffle board. Juke box. Mixed, friendly crowd. Last time I was there, a blonde headed birthday girl was whooping it up and bought the whole bar some shots with whipped cream and wanted everyone to dance with her. It was fun.

The place is nice with Pool table and other games, the karaōke is fantastic, I didn’t like the drinks that much they were small, but the staff is very nice, it wasn’t crowded, but they only take cash, another problem when you are used to carry only a few bucks in your pocket. The only big problem for me and my husband was the smoking, even the bar tender smokes inside and the extraction is not that good. I’m sorry because I would have loved to go back, but for me that is a DON’T GOBACK!!!

If I could give this place no stars I really would. I swear when I walked out of this place I felt like I just got rapped or something(& no I am not sarcastic!!). Im down for div bars but this was such a horrible place! I get the whole karaōke thing thats all fun and games. The bar seemed to be low balling alcohol. They didnt know how to make three drinks I asked for so I ended up with a malibu pineapple that tasted like there was no alcohol. Old school bartenders. Umm the crowd is something else. Lets say they were closer to trailer trash then to middle income. The night I came here, one of the«regulars» was acting her regular self and humping everything in site. She was running around the place in a crop shirt and booty shorts with no shoes. She even ran and jumped on a random guy singing, humped him and bit his neck. No one even stopped her, no bouncers or workers. I felt like she gave this place a horrible vibe. Who would honestly want to be around a drunk chick like that?! Another thing was a toothless old lady that reeked of alcohol and trash. I was told she another one of their«regulars». I think it was nice of her to come up to me and ask me to finish her lyrics to her Mariah Carey song, but I felt so disgusted when she kept spiting on me while she was singing due to her lack of teeth. After that I couldnt do it anymore, I got up and left. This was by far the most horrible experience I have ever had at a bar. I say go down the street to Bar Louie at least its more classy that place.
