Love this store! The ladies who work here are always sweet and helpful, never pushy. The only reason this place doesn’t 5 stars are the prices. But everything is very high quality, so you get what you pay for!

OK! I’m a size 18. Yes, a size 18.(Did I just Unilocal that? LOL) I’ve been this size for the past 10 years or so. I have blouses that I still wear and people still compliment me when I wear them. :) I do agree that they are pricey but once you find something you like and that flatters your body in the right places, you have to buy it, right? I do. I love their Cacique line. I have to buy my bras here, but every time I get measured I’m in denial LOL. They had an awesome sale that was buy 2 get 2 free. So I bought 2 just to get the other 2 free. If that’s not a deal, I don’t know what is.

Lane Bryant must be smoking crack! I needed an outfit for a funeral next week and they were my 3rd stop. I found quite a few nice items, but the prices were just too crazy. A ruffled knit tank top with a matching cardigan was $ 100. No joke. And it was a cottony knit blend. Not even wool or angora. I also spotted a few plain black dresses but they were all $ 75+. Their clearance section is a JOKE. Several of the items were on «gold sticker clearance» — ONEDOLLAROFF. No joke. Something was originally $ 35 and it was marked down to $ 34. How is that clearance? I actually visited twice in one day. On my first visit there were two women on the sales floor and they were both very friendly and helpful. When I came back later in the day to get a bra, absolutely no one was available to help on the sales floor. I needed to try on a bra and I had to stand there for quite a while before I said«fuck da po-leece» and went into one without«checking in». Yup. I’m a badass. I bought the bra and the cashier was such a bitch once I declined her offer for a credit card. I even told her I never shop there and she just got pissy with me. The only plus is that they were having a 40% off sale, so my $ 40 bra was $ 26. Not bad. I still prefer Torrid bras, but their current selection is very limited while they are in the process of revamping their bra line.

I used to dread coming to Lane Bryant. My mom used to drag me to the location in the Pasadena Plaza every time I needed a «dressy» outfit. Problem was, I wasn’t really plus-sized back in high school. I was just as they like to say now, «thick». I didn’t have a stomach… I just had broad shoulders, and thick muscular legs. Fast forward to the present, and I still kind of dread coming here. I’m actually plus-sized now and I still can’t find anything that ever flatters, or fits me properly. The ladies that work here are for the most part nice and helpful, but at times can be a little too pushy and overbearing. The dressing rooms are usually well kept. What I really enjoy is Cacique, the lingerie portion of Lane Bryant. Finally, cute bras, cute underwear, cute lingerie for a big girl! No more just beige, white, black or pale pink under garments. Unfortunately the prices are a little too steep for me, so I only catch things when they are on sale.

This store has a pretty good selection of clothing for fuller figured women. They carry career and casual clothing. Next door is their undergarments brand, Cacique. Now, they also offer Junior sized clothing called Loop 18. Their sale section is also quite big. Located at the back of the store, behind the jewelry, it’s a good place to start your shopping. I’ve often shopped and paid much less than anticipated as they usually have additional discounts on sale items. Isn’t that grand?

i am totally comfortable with my body, but until Torrid opened this was the only place I could shop and I HATED my life. if you are plus size and over the age of 35, this place is bitchin’…if you do not want to look like a balloon, this place is most likely not for you. ONCE in a blue moon, they have a cute top, but whenever i try on their stuff, i do not feel like I am in my twentys, I feel like I am 50+… AND, honestly, I worked here in high school and was told to lie to all the customers and tell them how slimming the clothes were… the manager actually told us to lie. thats super lame! I dropped that job fast, and never looked back… nothing there is slimming ladies. you look fat in that top, it is too big. those pants make you look like you are wearing a diaper… express your curves, dont smother them with ugly paisley prints and flowers! especially when you are paying soooo much money for cheap sweat-shop clothing! one star for their bras… which are supportive and sometimes pretty cute…

I remember when my Mom used to shop at Lane Bryant’s many, many years ago. Thankfully, Lane Bryant has updated its’ image and offers clothes that are very stylish for BBW. Lane Bryant usually offers great sales(30% off, buy 1, get 1 free) at least once a quarter. There is also a Cacique store right next next to this Lane Bryant which sells sells women’s under garments. The majority of my wardrobe is courtesy of Lane Bryant for the past few years. The offer offer a promo called«Real Women, Real Dollars» to be used within a few weeks of one of their big sales. The«Real Dollars» usually give a discount of $ 50 off for $ 150 spent. Lane Bryant carries sizes 14 — 30, I think. Lane Bryant has special coupons or offers when signing up to be on its’ mailing list. For example, Lane Bryant’s has a spring sale of 25−40% off of spring sweaters, pants, tops and dresses.

fifi and i did the girl thing friday night… she took me to santa anita mall for a change of scenery shopping, dinner and chick flick! was fun and very very cute night for us, particularly the movie, penelope… loved it knew i would. we made an unexpected stop in lane bryant for the 6.99 rack extravaganza, but made out even better! as usual customer service is a big phat zero. clothing looks great but just not the fit or style for me usually but if it is, it is generally too much for my budget… although i am tempted to search other stores for a fabulous ceylon jacket inspired by the fab 50’s women of film and fashion sale price was even too much for my budget! it was so nice i’m still pondering. then why the four stars you ask? Cacique, Cacique, Cacique, Cacique! Their line of perfect panties, bras and lingerie built for comfort support AND visual affect! Stunningly well fitting, sexy and stylish. The first to bring round bottomed, bellied and breasted girls like myself not just quality underwear but QUALITYLINGERIE that looks as good as its function. i scored some remarkable finds from the post valentines 50% off sale, STUNNING. $ 40 dollars for a bustier and a triple layered chiffon chemise w/built in bra, both in red which as far as i’m concerned is a color for year round flirtation… i definitely feel like i beat the system! one of my favorite things to do.
