History

Established in 2007.

Our tax accounting firm, Adam Libman, just turned 6 years old! And it’s been a wild ride to say the least! So buckle in your mental seat belt, and enjoy this quick little story:

The firm started when Adam got fired from an accounting firm for moonlighting on the side. While there wasn’t a conflict of interest, the managing partner of that firm didn’t appreciate Adam’s entrepreneurial nature.

So, we started with just one client. One client meant eating, or not. One client meant paying rent, or living in the car. One client meant ALL the difference.

So what did Adam do? He made damn sure he didn’t have 0 clients. Because when you only have ONE client, that ONE client literally means the world to you.

But that ONE client soon turned into TWO clients, which turned into THREE, and so on.

However, the traumatic experience of having to make sure client #1 was HAPPY was laser tattooed into Adam’s brain. And that forms the basis of how we treat each client today!

Adam Libman, CRTP is a tax reduction strategist for small business owners. He maintains an accounting practice in Arcadia CA.

He’s been featured in CBS Money Watch, Newsday, The Boston Globe, International Business Times, 80⁄20 Sales & Marketing, & over 130 other publications.

Adam also publishes a monthly business newsletter with readership around the world. This is a Snail Mail Newsletter.

Adam Libman has two degrees from USC’s Business School. One in Accounting. One in Entrepreneurship.

Adam has worked at some of the L.A.‘s best business management firms. Clients included Oscar winning directors and actors.

Adam is Jewish, and attends Shul in Pasadena and in Los Angeles.

He’s married with two amazing kids (although, they do drive him crazy).

In his free time (hahahaha), Adam enjoys scotch, cigars, USC football, Lakers basketball, going to seminars, and telling dirty jokes.

Recently, I had suffered some serious health problems and as a result I had fallen behind in filing taxes for several years. I had no idea what to do, or where to turn, and for that matter, who could I turn to for honest, reliable help? Fortunately, I found Unilocal and in so doing discovered Adam Libman, tax consultant and strategist extraordinaire. He quickly analyzed my records and filed my past due taxes. But what was most enjoyable was his easy going demeanor and his nonjudgmental attitude. Came in for some Quicksbooks online software help. He’s such an outgoing person and relatable for someone looking for an accountant that understand how to use technology. He’s extremely hands-​on with training which was what I came in here for. He was extremely thorough with any of my questions. I was given some homework to do and will be scheduling another appointment to visit.
I learned about the importance of reconciling. We also discussed the importance of tax planning and tax preparation.
His Pasadena office was welcoming and located in a business building. Parking was ample. Free water.

I have known Adam for 3 tax years now. My accounting was in dire need of «house cleaning». We are a two people company trying to do what we know best all year. Accounting was and still is not our expertise. After working hard all year, I really was lost at what I was supposed to do about the numbers. I decided to give Adam a try after spending time researching online. At our initial meeting, he listened intensely, he took notes, he asked questions and he verified his understandings with me throughout the meeting. At the end of the hour, he laid out our game plan, told me what he needed from me and decided on a date for everything to be completed and delivered.
I liked his academic background, I liked his family background and, most importantly, I liked his «can do» attitude. I didn’t want an accountant who was going to tell me all the «you can’t do this» and «that’s all wrong». I wanted an accountant who offered solutions and one who gets me to where I need to be.
I highly recommend Adam to anyone looking for a trustworthy accountant who is genuinely trying to help his clients, will deliver on time, and truly cares.

I learned about Adam through my fiancé. I have been to several places but only @ Adam’s place I feel confident in filing my tax returns. It was a nice surprise to be able to sit in a contemporary and comfortable office to chat about tax strategies. He is so approachable which is a plus because I am very skeptical when it comes to my financial matters. I will definitely come back next April. On the plus side, he helped me get a net return which I haven’t gotten in a few years.

I came to Adam in a very serious irs situation. I was very scared and concerned with possible criminal implications. Adam listened to my situation and came up with a plan of action I am comfortable with. Adam is kind, empathic, and non judgemental. He also understands irs complex issues. What I didn’t like is there wasn’t a restroom key for the ladies. Somebody took it. Also parking kinda sucks here. But the positives so put weight the negatives. Please see Adam.

I went to Adam recently to file my taxes and was very impressed. First of all, as a new client, I was able to meet with him for 75 minutes on April 13th. To me, this says a lot regarding how organized and caught up he is with his current clientele. Most accountants do not have time to breathe during that time of year. But he had everyone already squared away. I ended up filing an extention as I pretty much expected I would have to, but he did give me the option to get them done before the 15th as well.
In meeting him he is very friendly and knowledgeable. He offered me a couple books to read which I declined (but now regret). He also offered suggestions regarding managing my finances which is appreciated.
He does make taxes fun (as another reviewer stated). Thank you Adam.

Ernie and I are always more than satisfied with Adams professional expertise. Over the years our annual tax visit, the Libmans have become a dear family friend. We were able to visit his new office, which we loved. With the exception of not being able to find the address numbers on the building… we were pleasantly surprised with all the parking and super new loacation.
We highly recommend seeing Adam… He’s thorough, professional and so personable. He explains everything in detail and provides much resource throughout the year to assist you when it’s time to file. CAN’T SAY ENOUGH… we just love him!

Dude. Adam is the Wolf Man. He solves problems. And when that problem is the IRS, well… yeah.
The two best parts about Adam:
*He is honest & genuine. Adam gives you the full story up front, even if that story isn’t necessarily good. And he also gives you the whole array of options– «we can do the Quickbooks… or you can». Duh, guess what my choice was?
*You know you’re in great hands. I always feel rest assured that Adam is guiding me the right way with my financial decisions. He has successfully gotten me out of a financial abyss. ‘Nuf said.
*Adam makes taxes fun. I swear. I said it. Just call him & you’ll quickly understand what I mean.
