Li’s Academy

I visited this after-​school last summer. The location was ideal and I was really hoping to enroll my children since it is right around the corner of Dana Middle School. I decided not to enroll my children based on their classroom environment. I went sometime in June so it was considerably hot outside. You can imagine my surprise when I walked into a hotter room. I didn’t mind the classrooms being separated by portable dividers. My main concern was the heat in the classroom. The teacher ensured that the AC was on and working but I can tell otherwise by the students fanning themselves with their books. I decided not to enroll my children in an after-​school that can’t afford to fix their AC and provide a decent environment for their students! The only nice thing to say about this after-​school was a board I saw with list of students who won in several writing contests. I would still like to know more about their academics. Has anyone else had experience with this after-​school?
