Ummm will someone from corporate talk to the women/girls working here. They’re REALLY stingy with samples… are they taking them home??? If I’m spending $$$ in store I expect samples and not 1 or 2 of the ones they feel like giving out. Rude service over all. No one approaches you and some don’t know the products well. Talking about Santa Anita Mall location.

I have been a loyal L’Occitane customer for years; and was super happy that they opened a store nearby. Unfortunately, the customer service sucks here. They recently launched some makeup removing oil and I wanted to try some. I asked if they have samples of any of them as I was paying for my not-so-expensive product. They told me no, they don’t have any. Then I asked if they can make me a sample, the manager-like Asian lady who was at the other register quickly responded ‘no we never make samples, we don’t have cups!’, which just made me feel like I’m a cheap bastard that wants unlimited samples. I really don’t mind that you don’t have samples; but when u respond, you can at least use a better attitude. I still love love love this brand, but will definitely stay away from this location.

I love their products but, the service sucks here. Went in today to receive my VIP nourishing gift with a purchase of $ 50.00 or more and I was told, they ran out, instead, the young Asian lady asked me to purchase another $ 15.00 more worth of products to take advantage of a free gift set they offer. Did I mention this wasn’t the first time? Good sales pitch, they push the products but along with it are loyal customers. I’ll go back to South Coast Plaza, service is to be applauded there. I purchased hundred of dollars worth of products, and I don’t dare ask for samples unless it’s given but being a VIP here just doesn’t count. Im disappointed needless to say. As far as coming back, I prefer not to. So long Westfield !

LOVE the brand, but the customer service is really bad here. The sales associates Only approach all the 30+ rich Chinese customers!!! I was standing there for five minutes and had to ask one of non-Asian sales associate to help me. seriously! Why would that sales associates at this particular location only approach the older Chinese ladies? Don’t even underestimate the purchasing power of young people! I end up walking out with a $ 80 purchase and order $ 100+ products from the online store afterwards.

Came here when the wife dragged me for the black friday shopping. I didn’t really want to go in but the smell of sweet lavender drew me in and i bought a shaving kit on impluse. The wife bought the lavender hand cream on sale 3 for $ 24 and some other lotion kit the saleperson sucked into buying. The people working there were really nice and spoke Chinese which i didnt really speak. They were really good at upsaling me things i don’t need. I would come back but without cash and credit cards.

I love L’Occitane products and am so glad to have found out that L’Occitane just recently opened at the Westfield Santa Anita Mall.(L’Occitane make high quality skin care beauty products and very much worth the price they cost. I have incredibly sensitive and light skin, which I do not trust to just any brand). Last night, my husband and I decided to make a trip to the mall just to browse(and also we had no other plans for the evening). I was not expecting to really buy anything, but ended up purchasing over $ 200 worth of products at L’Occitane! This location is located on the first floor, across from The Art of Shaving store(new store as well). As I walking out of The Art of Shaving store with my husband I saw this store but did not recognize the name initially(I recognized the logo after I walked inside the store and realized I use these products) and decided to just walk in and take a look(dangerous for my wallet, which I did not know at the time, lol). For the special Black Friday sale, they had a special buy 2 selected gift sets, get one for free that got me to start shopping(and realizing who I need to buy gifts for… I guess Black Friday shopping isn’t just all about getting gifts for myself). On top of this special promotional deal, they had others as well that just caused me to leave more than $ 200 lighter than when I came in(I hope my loved ones appreciate these Christmas gifts when they get them next month). There were 2 female employees working around 8:50 pm when I walked in(they closed at 10 pm last night, as part of their new holiday hours). They were both friendly and do speak both English and Chinese(one does speak Cantonese and the other Mandarin). The one employee who rang me up was helpful and showing me a few products I had questions about. She was also trying to stay patience with this older gentleman behind me who basically ignored the fact that she was helping me and started asking a ton of questions about the promotional sales going on in the store(I hate to say it, but sometimes Chinese people can be really pushy. especially those that were not born here). She answered his questions and continues to help with my transaction. She did not at all ever appear to be stressed out. After my big purchases, she gave me a large handful of free samples to take home with me and she also gave me a few additional coupons to use on future purchases. She also helped sign me up on their VIP club(while answering that older gentleman’s questions at the same time… sometimes people just don’t have a clue to just wait their turn…). Although this store is rather small(smaller than the location in Glendale), I really enjoyed my shopping experience. I even was able to get a shaving kit for my husband at this store as well(ladies, don’t forget the wonderful men in your lives as well… this isn’t just a store for women).
