Established in 2006.
Prior to opening Rise Up Academy, founders Christopher Shen and Daphne Ho worked at an after-school institution that failed to effectively aid students and improve their grades. In 2006, Christopher Shen and Daphne Ho began teaching students in their living room apartment. These humble beginnings would eventually evolve into the Rise Up Academy that exists today.
