Arcata Pro Floor Abbey Design Center is a full service floor covering retailer established in 1997. We service all of our community’s needs in retail sale and installation of all types of conventional and natural floor coverings, both in stock and by custom order. We offer expert in-house installations and we guarantee our work. Some of the floor coverings we offer include wall to wall carpet, area rugs, sheet vinyl, vinyl tile, and laminate flooring. Arcata Pro Floor Abbey Design Center installs floor coverings in residential and rental homes, apartments, commercial buildings, industrial sites, and government work in both new construction and remodeling. Our focus is to provide a variety of floor covering products at all price levels with excellent customer service and expert in-house installations and follow through.

Arcata ProFloor Abbey Design Center is a locally owned independent full service floor covering retailer established in 1997, joining Abbey Carpet & Floor as an independent flooring retailer in 2002.
Over the years, Arcata ProFloor has supported many local organizations in the community through donations of time, money, and materials. Some of these organizations include local schools, the Arcata Chamber of Commerce, Arcata Main Street, Astronomer’s of Humboldt, North Coast Repertory Theatre, and Ferndale Repertory Theatre.

Business Owner
Jeff became a licensed flooring contractor in 1984 after installing floor coverings for 7 years. He moved to Eureka in 1978 to attend College of the Redwoods, graduating in 1980, and continued in the Construction Technology program while installing flooring for a local company. Jeff opened Arcata ProFloor in 1997. Jeff serves on the Board of Directors for the Arcata Chamber of Commerce, and has served on several committees for the Arcata School District. Jeff has also served as the President, Vice-President, & Secretary for the Astronomers of Humboldt. Jeff & Lisa have been married since 1982, and have lived in Arcata with their two boys since 1994.
