Vegan shoes are sold here. Many items made in the USA. Reusable containers for your lunch, jewelry made from decommissioned bombs, solar powered headlamps, organic cotton underwear, cute Prana clothing, paper made from bamboo or jeans, belts made from old bike tires… You get the idea. It’s all not only good for the planet, it’s trendy and hip. Kevin the owner is often there to help. Buying local has never been so easy.

Extremely knowledgable and friendly staff. We spent close to $ 1,000 dollars there. A great Hoodlamb jacket out of Amsterdam. One of the best jackets that I have purchased. Great hemp and organic products.

Most of the clothing items here are produced by a company called Nomads hempwear. These products do not even contain hemp. Some of them are produced with organic bamboo, however the majority of them are produced with soy, cotton, and spandex. Completely misleading. Also, this company produces their clothing in China, so their clothing is so completely overpriced it is absolutely ridiculous. There are some other good items of hemp and organic cotton clothing and socks throughout the store. However, for the most part, this store is filled with clothing from this silly company.

I bought a hemp pack from Solutions. The owner told me he had one left in a color that was my second choice. The cost of the pack was over $ 100. This pack has steadily been fraying at the seams since I received it about one month ago. I emailed the company that makes the pack and sent them photos of the pack. The person who answered my email happens to be the owner of the company. He sent an email asking for more photos. I obliged him, only to get an answer stating that I should wait and see how it holds up in a year. I sent an email stating, «Not acceptable.» The P***k became defensive and stated that he was, «Only trying to be Eco.» What a bunch of Horses**t! He asked for my address stating that he would send me another pack. I gave him my PO Box and he emailed asking for my residence address. The post office has lockers for packages and is considerably cheaper than UPS or Fedex. He also mentioned signing for the package. I emailed asking what he meant. He was very nasty and demanded that I give him my residential address. I would have obliged him, however, I have a sense that he is untrustworthy. I called Kevin at Solutions and apprised him of the situation. Kevin told me in one conversation that he didn’t have the pack and when I explained the situation to him, he asked me to send the pack back to him and that he would send another one. WTH? I can’t trust either of these guys! I decided to take the loss. I will never do business with Kevin or the company that makes Sativa packs! Consumer Beware!

Visited the store with my wife in July 2014. Very helpful owner Kevin; gave us guidance regarding environmental attractions in the Arcata area. Purchased a few items, found the merchandise to be interesting. Highly recommend visiting the store.

Great, well stocked store with a lot of clothing/household items. Very friendly staff and owner. I have purchased a organic cotton shower curtain and a latex pillow. Both are well made products. Just had the owner order me extra latex filler for my terrific pillow to firm it up more. Now when I wake up, my neck is refreshed and relaxed unlike with feather pillows. Each item serves my needs as good as can be expected and hoped for. I will always check with them about any of my future needs.

I love the eco friendly selection here and the friendly help. I can always find something I love and need to buy. Prices are reasonable too, and there’s always the great sale rack.

We visited this store on September 12. The interior is attractive, and they have a good selection of hemp clothing & eco products. I bought a nice t-shirt for a very low price($ 10 plus tax). The young guy folding clothes was friendly and he had a wonderful smile — but the young female cashier looked at me with what seemed like a look of disgust when I handed her that one(inexpensive) item, and then she said«Is that all?»(?!).
