With the intent of offering big city services in a small town location, industry professionals at On The Fringe Hair Studio offer residents of Archbald and surrounding communities luxury salon services.

Business Owner

On The Fringe Hair Studio’s owner, stylist Maura, has been in the hair industry for more than 24 years. She believes that her clients deserve to feel and look their very best — her impetus in creating a relaxing environment and beautiful space where she and her experienced team are able to make it happen. «My dedication to pushing the salon forward while staying on trend will always keep On The Fringe where it needs to be — on the cutting edge,» Maura explains. «I learned the industry from the ground up,» she continues. «I’m passionate about cutting and coloring all types of hair.» In 2011, Maura received the Best Stylist title in the Best of the Abingtons Reader’s Choice Awards presented by the Abington Journal and Wilkes-​Barre Publishing Company. In addition, Maura and her brother are co-​founders of the CASUAL Day fundraising initiative — Colon Cancer Awareness Saves Unlimited Adult Lives — created to promote both community colon cancer awareness and colorectal cancer screening.
