History

Established in 2006.

Our company was founded by Warren Thomas, Sr. in the 1950’s in Gainesville, Florida. He established A-​Lot-​A-​Sparkle Window Cleaners with the emphasis on window cleaning. In 1977, Warren Thomas, Jr. moved back to Gainesville with his young family and reestablished a janitorial, window and cleaning business using the name Thomas Cleaning Service. Warren, Jr. succumbed to cancer in 1983. The family-​oriented business was passed onto his brother, John Thomas, who owned and operated Thomas Cleaning Service until 2012. John and his family provided carpet, tile/​grout cleaning using a truck-​based system. Warren Jr.‘s widow, daughters, and grandchildren now operate the cleaning service portion using a similar name. A-​Lot-​A-​Sparkle Cleaning Service has been providing residential housecleaning services since 1991. As of 2006 the company has expanded to include commercial janitor service.

I have been associated with the cleaning business all my life. I worked and learned from my dad who owned a janitorial service in California and then in Florida before his death in 1983. I decided to promote the business again after my first granddaughter was born in 2006.
