We are a full service recording studio with both analog and digital multi-​track

(Pro Tools HD3) capability and an incredible selection of new and vintage microphones and outboard gear as well select handmade items that are only available at our studio. We also have a wide assortment of keyboards like an Arp synth, a Rhodes Electric Piano and a Hammond organ with a Leslie rotating speaker all included in our regular low rate. Most importantly we have a killer live room with three overdub rooms and a superb staff of engineers that are conversant in all genres of music. We also do high quality transfers from shellac, vinyl, CD, cassettes, DAT and many other weird formats. Please call us today and start making some great music!

History

Established in 2004.

Founded by Rich Myers, Dan Leider and Marc Shames who built it from the ground up into the great facility it is today. The studio was acquired by Grammy winning record producer Aaron Luis Levinson is March of 2011. Aaron is thrilled to call this base of operations and has made many new additions to the business since taking the helm. Range Recording Studio is known as a leader in the region for making a high quality facility available to everyone for a fair price and we intend to make it better every single day.

Business Owner

Aaron Luis Levinson is a veteran of the music industry and a Grammy– winning producer with a background as a lyricist and bandleader. He has produced and/​or released over 25 albums and co-​composed and produced the score for the Cinemax release «How Do You Spell Murder?» directed by Oscar-​winning directors Alan and Susan Raymond. He is also an ASCAP– affiliated songwriter and publisher and has an international publishing agreement with Evergreen Copyrights in Nashville for his compositions around the world. Levinson is a current governor of the Philadelphia chapter of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences aka NARAS. Aaron currently serves on the advisory panel of the music intelligence company Platinum Blue. His current post is Owner and staff producer for Range Record Studio, located in Ardmore, PA. Since arriving at Range he produced the critically acclaimed «Rediscovering Lonnie Johnson» with guitar legend Jef Lee Johnson.
