Our approach is innovative and caring using state-​of-​the-​art technology in providing treatment for many foot and ankle conditions such as fungal nails, heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, sprains, fractures, diabetic foot care, arthritic care, corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, neuromas, athlete’s foot, running and sports injuries, tendonitis, plantar warts and more.

Our modern facilities, located in Ardmore, Paoli and Downingtown PA, are fully equipped with X-​ray on premises and our services include whirlpool, electrotherapy for the treatment of neuropathy, tendonitis and wounds, as well as state-​of-​the-​art laser therapy for the treatment of nail fungus, scar reduction, spider veins and warts. We strive to provide the finest in care and conveniently offer early morning and evening appointments.

Over 25 years ago, Your Next Step Foot & Ankle Care Center was established to provide patients with the very best foot & ankle care. Our mission was, and still is today, to deliver the utmost care in foot & ankle treatment while also educating our patients about preventative foot care. We have always been committed to providing our patients with precise diagnoses and comprehensive foot care to effectively treat all our patients’ needs from children to seniors.

Meet the Business Owner

Eric R.

Business Owner

Dr. Eric Ricefield graduated from St. Joseph’s University in 1983 and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1987. He completed a two-​year surgical residency at Philadelphia Veterans Medical Center in conjunction with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Ricefield is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and is also a Diplomate of the American Council of Certified Podiatric Physicians and Surgeons and the American Academy of Pain Management.

Dr. Ricefield lectures frequently in the area and is active in the Ardmore and Paoli communities. He believes in educating his patients as part of preventative foot care. With his passion for providing quality treatment, it was Dr. Ricefield’s mission to start a practice where patients would receive the highest level of care and expertise in diagnosis and treatment while staying up-​to-​date with cutting edge technologies and treatments.
