Description

Specialties

Slyce is the newest incarnation of Ardsley Pizza, a new spin on an old pie with the same great owners and a storefront rebranded and expanded in July 2014. In addition to a new selection of draft beers and a wine cuvenee system, we offer artisan pies, innovative desserts, and full dinner favorites like «The Veal Parm.»

We also continue our traditional New York style pizza and old world dishes that our customers have become so accustomed to, like the Chicken Ardsley, Chicken Scarpiello, and Chicken Parmigiana.

History

Established in 2014.

Tony and Phil Ciccone were no strangers to to the craft when they opened the doors of Westchester County’s own Ardsley Pizza back in 1991. Their family tradition was started in 1975, when their father, Michael Ciccone, opened Mike and Sons Pizza on Allerton Ave. in the Bronx. It was their dad, an immigrant from Macchiagodena, Italy who arrived in the U.S. in 1958, that instilled in them the work ethic and «people skills» that have made the business thrive.

After more than 20 years in business, Tony and Phil jumped at the chance to expand and reinvent themselves.

And so begins the era of SLYCE, the newly reincarnated version of Ardsley Pizza — a place with the same great owners, plus a few extra toppings. The slick new storefront reopened its doors on August 12, 2014, wowing regular customers with a whole new look and a fully expanded menu.

Business Owner

Phil Ciccone here! Myself and my big brother Tony started Ardsley Pizza in 1991 and based it on our dad’s 1970’s Bronx Pizzeria. At Slyce, you’ll find the two of us as always, slinging pies, laughing and smiling, and greeting our customers. We’ve added some craft beers, wines, and artisan pies, but the family vibe is just the same! We like to say that with the new additions, now you can get your Manhattan fix in Westchester, right here in your own backyard!
