Started by Robert Gerrits in Chicago in 1951, then moved to Arlington Heights where Jim Martin took over the business that has been on Arlington Heights Road 20 years. «Providing quality photographic portraiture and wedding photography has always been my goal.

Jim started out as a photojournalist working for the local suburban newspapers covering local events, disasters, sports and human interest pieces. He taught photography at University of Illinois at Chicago and has been a full time wedding and portrait photographer at photo by robert for 30 years.
