A&B was recommended to me by people in town. They have a great selection of tile and the ladies in the show room were very helpful to me in selecting tile with the look I wanted and within price range I wanted. I purchased both marble tile and a marble slab for my bathroom. The marble floor arrived, and I had my tile installer, install it and it looks fabulous. The marble counter top was measured and installed by A&B. It was installed with a noticable chip in the center of the marble. They came back and removed the slab and filled, polished it and sealed it and returned it. It looked better, but you could still see where they filled in the chip in the marble. The owner of A&B gave me only two options: one is that I could have it removed and they would refund all the money, or I could take less than $ 100.00 off a piece of marble that I paid over $ 1000(just for the marble slab-not including my tile). I asked if he would help me replace the slab with another piece of that type of marble or something similar(as it was a remnant) and he would not, said he had nothing that would work and would not be able to do that. That was disappointing. I did not knowingly purchase a defective/chipped piece of marble for a discount. I am in the middle of my bathroom renovation, and I had worked with the ladies at the store to match my tile floor that I purchased from A&B to this counter top marble, so I would have hoped that the owner would have helped me get a different piece of marble that was not defective to install in my bathroom, versus the options he provided, as those options don’t feel palatable. Based on this experience, I did not feel that the owner was interested in wanting to retain me as a customer. I will not use A&B Marble again, nor would I recommend A&B Marble.

Great selection of tile on display. Michele helped show a variety within my budget. Plus, I was also able to borrow showroom tiles for at home viewing. Very convenient!

I spent hours — really days — researching granite and marble for my kitchen. I went to all the usual places like huge warehouses with thousands of slabs, and I wasn’t able to find: a) anything I liked and, b) anything in my price range. I happened upon A&B Marble and Granite and decided to stop by. They had a small, but very nice, selection of marble and granite. I found the perfect slab of Coast Green granite for my kitchen. I was able to cut out the middle man: the huge granite supplier who wouldn’t show me around the warehouse until I chose a fabricator from the«recommended» list. I asked A&B for a reference and spoke with a high-end contractor in Lexington who uses them exclusively in the homes he builds. After I chose the granite and put down a deposit, I worked directly with the company owner — Jimmy — who helped me problem solve the unique issues in my kitchen. For example, my counter is super long — longer than any slab out there — so Jimmy made sure the seam he needed to place was virtually invisible. By the time I ended up at A&B, I had a good sense of what my job might cost. I found their prices reasonable, especially when I know I’m using a high-end granite that’s in short supply. I also appreciate working directly with the owner. Jimmy measured the job himself, then supervised the entire installation. Best of all, the project — from deposit to final installation — took only 10 days! I highly recommend A&B Marble and Granite!
