Food is horrible, no taste, if that’s the best one in DFW, I can’t imaging how others could be~

Come here on an empty stomach and you’ll walk out weighing 10 lbs more. From the sushi, classic Chinese dishes — stir fried and steamed, to the shrimp and unlimited crab legs, you won’t be disappointed. Waited 40 mins to be seated on a Saturday evening along with dozens more in line, but well worth it!!!

I will walk you through my first and last visit at the Asian Buffet. Me and my husband arrive there is a wait but that’s no issue because there is usually a wait at buffets. The lady at the front warned that there was a 10 minute wait so if we wanted to stay to beware for that and we did so the wait ended up being more of a 20 minute wait but we weren’t upset because we understand that is something that is out of their control. So finally we go and sit down. The floors are dirty and the tables are sticky and the food is cold also everyone is just bumping in to each other because it is so packed. So we are eating and we notice we are missing straws we call our waiter over and ask her and she literally goes to get them and comes back and throws them at us we had to pick them up from the floor. At that point we were already mad and literally 5 minutes later she comes by with the check and asks us if we are done because there are people waiting. We haven’t even been sitting down eating for 10 minutes at this point. And we say no and she says okay that she will leave the check at our table we say thank you and continue eating she comes back every 5 minutes and picks up the check and says«oh you aren’t ready» and puts it back on the table she does this continuously until we leave. So we are finally ready to leave after our short 30 minute visit because we were getting uncomfortable because she kept coming around and just to check if we were ready to pay never to refill our drinks because I never got a refill neither did my husband. And we give her the card she comes back and leans over and asks how much are we going to tip her and my husband put 5 $ and she said that wasn’t enough and so he got mad and put 0 $ and she said«fine next time you come I will give you lousy service.» This was literally the worst place I’ve ever eaten due to her service and it’s such a shame because everyone seems to really enjoy this place but she tarnished it for us. Her name is Annie by the way so beware of this rude waiter if you want to have a nice time.

I’m weary of buffets because they are hit or miss, but this place is a big hit!!! I have almost been living in Arlington for a year and I can’t believe I have just discovered this place. I was in the mood for some Asian food for lunch one day and I was tired of eating Panda Express and their overly breaded and minced entrees so I decided to give this place a try! Everything I had was amazing including the sweet and sour chicken, house chicken, beef and broccoli, fried fish which was tilapia one day and catfish the last time, delicious. My first two times eating here was at lunch and I had a to go box which I devoured once I got back to my office. I invited a friend to lunch this weekend and she was surprised by vast selection. They have a sushi bar and a Mongolian grill as well as a seafood bar, appetizer bar, fruit and dessert and of course the traditional Asian entrees. I’ve been there three times in the past week and I still haven’t tried everything. There prices are pretty good for their selection, but you definitely will save money if you go at lunch. Also I no longer have to go to Panda Express anymore, lol. I had about four different entrees, fried rice and vegetables in my to go box and my meal still came out cheaper than a 2 entrée box at Panda. Bottom line if you want variety, fresh food(where you can actually taste the meat and flavor), good service, and get your dollar worth go to Asian Buffett.

Big selection of dishes. Amazing food quality. I haven’t tried all of the kind but i’m pretty sure this Asian buffet is outstanding among the ones i tried, period.

The food had obviously been out for awhile and when the waiter took our bill he had an attitude. We were gonna leave a cash tip but he crumpled our receipt and stormed off so we just left.

Do you like Asian buffet restaurants? I know I do. Do you like Asian buffet restaurants with a large selection? Yep, I do as well. What about Asian buffet restaurants with a large selection that manages to offer outstanding quality food that tastes great? Right on, man. That’s the only way to fly. So, I am breaking my rule of not giving a buffet style restaurant 5 stars. However, this exception is certainly worthy! When I lived in Arlington, we ate here fairly regularly. About a year ago, my family and I moved about an hour south of Fort Worth. We truly miss this place. Actually, we miss it so much that we actually make the trek(well over an hour one way) to eat here every now and then. Can you believe that? Well, we do. It is THAT good. Let’s break this down: First off, there is such a large selection I have to have a plan going in. That way my OCD doesn’t kick in and make me pass out. I like to start by making my way through the Mongolian barbecue line. Get a bowl, fill it with various meats, add some veggies(if you want to ruin it… kidding), add an egg, and mix the Mongolian sauce with the peanut curry sauce(so good). I end it by sprinkling garlic salt and yellow curry powder over the ingredients. Take it to the counter and get a number. After that, I hit the sushi bar. Don’t get me wrong… this is not Sushi Axiom, Blue Fish, or other high-end sushi restaurant quality; however, for the price, the rice is always great and the minimal selection of fish is always fresh and tasty. It is well worth a trip just for the sushi appetizer. Or, if you are so inclined, just fill up on sushi. Pro Tip: their spicy tuna is outstanding! After that, my Mongolian is ready. I then make my way through the vast array of selections on the multiple buffet islands and choose a few of my favorites. Not all items are served every day, but I like the frog legs, the chicken skewers(very moist), the pepper chicken, and whatever else I am in the mood for that day. This place is amazing. But, be forewarned, you may end up losing your afternoon to a long nap while pretending to watch TV. If you get Mongolian and or Sushi, please bring a couple extra bucks to put in the tip jars located by those stations. It doesn’t cost extra on the bill, but it is just the right thing to do. And, it is worth it. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating, friendly servers(drink refills), and the layout of the food keeps the crowds moving with ease. It also has a family friendly atmosphere and is a great place to go with a large crowd.

How can anyone not give this buffet 5 stars? It’s the absolute best Asian buffet in literally all of DFW. You name it they got it, and it’s F R E S H! It’s like the Christmas of Asian buffets. They have sushi where the guy is behind there making it as people take it away. A big salad and fruit bar, American food for your picky spoiled American kids, and piping hot fresh Asian favorites. The pepper chicken is dangerous here on the all you can eat for me. This place is super clean and nicely decorated for a buffet place. Tv’s everywhere too if there was a game on or something. My husband and I try to stay away from this place because it’s so good and we don’t want to eat too much. One definite reason why the food is so fresh is because of turn-over. This is a popular spot always filled with people, so you see them refilling the buffet all the time with newly cooked items. Don’t think twice about going here, and no your buffet is not better then this place in DFW.

This place never disappoints me. Everytime I crave heavy exotic food, I end up here because I know I will be finding peace here. This place is one of my favorites, thanks to the sheer variety of food offered here. I always try all their food(minus the cookies and salad). Most of the items are worth the money but the quality of some is questionable. The steak, chicken wings, baked salmon always seem to be recooked. The shrimp is not deveined and some clams are dirty. But Hey, you can have your money worth of crawfish and sushi and still leave happy. The sushi, I should mention, is very well rolled and designed. I sometimes have it as a dessert. lol… I find the Mongolian grill a little out of place, but just to show my respect towards it, I request a 3 egg chicken omelet that i can nibble on, alongside my main course(s). And yeah, I don’t ever forget to get a cup of ice cream to go. I would recommend this place only to an adventurous friend.

Not thoroughly impressed, not a bad place to eat! But the acoustics are terrible, you can hear everything everybody says it every table around you! The seafood was not standard! I have several pieces of seafood dishes, and tasted them! However did not finish any of them. I guess for the price! It was worth wild :-)

I give 1 star for the selection, style of restaurant, and service. I give another star for them having the stir fry with tons of choices! I mean tons. Every topping you could imagine is here. I take off 3 stars for a multitude of reasons. 1. Dirty!!! Dirty dirty dirty! Bathrooms were disgusting. I have truly never seen such a disgusting bathroom. I will upload photos below. 2. Every single lo mein noodle I tasted was over cooked and just melted the second it touched your mouth. Maybe it’s supposed to be that way? I can’t imagine how it could get messed up every time. 3 cramped and loud! The whole time, I could hear the woman taking bites next to me, even though she was supposed to be at a different table. The building is ornate and large and there are many buffet tables, but the food quality, and grossness of the bathrooms are not worth it. Not to mention how many hard chunks and bones I had to pick out of my meat while I was eating it! The best thing I tried was the fried rice, and the ice cream! Many better places elsewhere. Plus every single dish I touched felt dirty and like it was poorly washed! I could feel the residue stuck on the plates. If you do decide to go make sure you bring a jacket to go in the bathroom, because it’s like 50 degrees in there!

Asian Buffet is… well… your average Asian buffet. No one particular item stood out to me but their selection is solid. They even have sushi, crab legs, and a Mongolian grill. The place was packed when I went. Like Black Friday shopping kind of packed. If the buffet itself is average, why am I giving it 4 stars? Mainly because of the price, as dinner was less than $ 14 on a Saturday night. This kind of value is unheard of, as Asian buffets can easily cost upwards of $ 20 on weekends, especially if they offer crab legs. No wonder so many people were there.

This is my favorite Chinese buffet restaurant. Their food is always fresh and hot. The staff are courteous. We’ve been coming here since they opened a few years ago. They keep the buffet clean and stocked and the variety is amazing. I’ve tried several other buffets in Fort Worth and Arlington and have not found one that even comes close. The drive is worth it!

We’ve been here so many times that they know we’re regulars. We’ve been at lunch and dinner and both are equally good. Their selection is amazing and they’re constantly turning over the contents with fresh stuff. I’ve been so many times that I have a routine — first course hot and sour soup with crispy noodles and fresh fruit(big selection); second comes the main plate with crab rangoon(the best), chicken wings(not the buffalo — they’re just meh), teriyaki chicken with sauteed onions, and broccoli from one of the dishes that have it. Fried shrimp is good if you go on the night they have it. DH always gets the mongolian grill and he loves it. The desserts are OK — besides the ice cream, everything’s hard and crunchy. Love the candied peanuts and little almond cookies. I could eat my weight in those Chinese«donuts» — soft, puffy fried dough rolled in sugar. They’re great. We finally have it down where we don’t stuff ourselves silly. They could use a good carpet cleaning session, but we’ll be back anyway!

I’m not a big buffet fan. Not that they are bad or lesser quality but because I’m a pig and although I say«not this time» I always seem to leave miserable. That aside, Asian Buffet is really good. They are almost always packed which means the food is fresh. Nothing like a slow buffet where the food has dried out. With the crowds, there is constant turn over. I love their fresh Sushi, Crab Rangoon’s, and pot sticker dumplings. On the weekends is there seafood extravaganza and that really packs the house. Again, I leave miserable but it sure was good going down.

The price was awesome — $ 11 for a buffet is a pretty good deal to me!(for their Sunday dinner, anyway) The food was average — average selection although they do have crawfish and kiwis which I didn’t expect and was nice. The service people are friendly and very prompt. My biggest irk is that their patrons are rather low-scale and have howling children and seem to not know manners themselves. I’d come here by myself if I’m craving some variety but probably wouldn’t bring anyone here. I didn’t have any stomach problems after.
