Moved to Arlington about two years ago and to the Pantego area last June. I can’t believe they still allow disgusting smokers inside area restaurants. Totally ruined my family dining experience. Who cares what the food tasted like. Once you reek of someone else’s cigarette smoke your night is over.

Visited to pick up an order 3÷18÷16 around 3pm. Barely 5 minutes into my wait I heard two Anti-Semitic comments from employees talking to each other: a(possibly Hispanic) man behind the counter with a thick beard and a young Caucasian woman. Absolutely disgraceful. Specifically, the man grunted about how someone was«Jewing» him and the woman cackled and was also being extremely unprofessional.

Pretty disappointing for a place that has been around this long. Brisket was very dry and had very little taste. Sides were marginal at best. Service was attentive and good so there is that. I’m not sure why this place is popular. It was pretty darn bad. Too many other options to come back.

Average BBQ and sides. They are open on Sundays now. The brisket had good flavor but was a bit dry. Beans were way too salty. The potato salad was mustard based and so-so. The waitstaff were nice.

I had a good experience. Thought the brisket was just average the pinto beans were great and the fries were not only good but were plated very generously. The staff was very diligent and well-trained The restaurant was very clean and pleasantly decored. I’ll gladly return again.

Omnomnomnom. Came here during a brief stay in Arlington and was not disappointed. It wasn’t busy but then again we came about an hour to closing time. Waitstaff was quick and friendly despite us being in an hour before closing time. I had the pork, brisket, and hot links. All were tasty both as a standalone meat and with the sauces. I’m not much of a sauce person, but I liked all three of the sauces. The pork was a bit of a salt bomb when you got the blackened bits, but I like salt, so no complaints here.

It was ok BBQ. Didn’t like the potato salad. Onion rings were good. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff!

Aesthetic is a little off putting at first(it’s themed around Coca-Cola), but that quickly fades once you get into the food. The barbecue is all well done and the sides are standard fare for what you would expect from a BBQ joint. The cobbler is fantastic(if you can even get that far after all the food they throw at you).

Ordered ribs, brisket, sausage, and pulled pork. Everything was excellent. Need to come back and try the buffet so I can try everything. One of the best BBQ places in DFW

Stopped by for lunch. With the way the place looks from the outside, I didn’t know what to think. Walked inside, cans of Coca-Cola everywhere! Original design, I liked it. I ordered a combination plate of brisket and sausage. The brisket was good, the sausage was AMAZING! Best I’ve ever had. Baked beans were filled with complex flavor. I should have asked for a take-home bottle of the BBQ sauce — a complex blend of molasses, brown sugar, vinegar, and a few special flavors I could not identify. My server was prompt, fast, and had a cute smile. I’ll Be Back!

Can’t believe we’ve never been here! What a fantastic place filled with some of the rarest Coca Cola memorabilia around and I’ve seen and owned more than my fair share. The food here is incredible. The brisket is moist and falls apart, the ribs fall off the bone, the chicken is very flavorful, and the sausage is spiced really well but may be too hot for some. As far as sides go, our favorites are the fried okra, baked beans, cole slaw, and green beans. Lots of people call in their orders for pickup but they’ve got plenty of room for dining in.

We have eaten Barbecue at a variety of places, we always enjoy a good one. But Coopers stands above the rest. The sides are good but so are the others. What topped this off was the brisket itself. I am not a big beef eater. Us ladies love the turkey and chicken usually but here I tasted the brisket and craved more for weeks. The flavor was so delicious and it was so tender it melted in our mouths! We had to stop back by just to get some more to take home before leaving town. The setting is much more the authentic Texan experience with your meal served on butcher paper! You sit at long banquet with bench style, seat yourself, completely casual. Free sides of ranch style beans, pickles, onions and bread are offered in keeping with the Texas Barbecue style. A great experience that you’ll be glad you tried! Enjoy!

My brother loved this place!!! I recently went there to celebrate my recently deceased brother’s birthday. It was very, very disappointing. When we arrived I let them know I was anticipating a group of 10 or 12 people. The waitress seemed taken aback by that number. We were then seated and it took almost an hour to even get our menus. It was then another hour before we could get our orders. After finally ordering, it took another hour before we received our food. I was very displeased, and if my brother was alive he would’ve been also. I hope this was a one time thing because I really would like this to be an annual occasion.

Cokers is a local’s favorite and it definitely does not disappoint. I was completely blown away with everything I had. My only regret is that I didn’t order extra to-go. Combo Platter — Their platters are served with Texas toast and your choice of 2 sides or a loaded potato. I strongly suggest that you go with the combo platter. You have a choice of 3 meats. Go big or go home! I ordered the slice brisket, ribs and pulled pork with a side of cole slaw and corn on the cob. I was half expecting dry brisket just because of how it looked but Cokers fooled me. Everything was extremely juicy, the rib meat fell right off the bones. If you want an extra kick, add their BBQ sauce with the pepper sauce. It also makes for a great dipping sauce for Fried Okra(which I also strongly recommend). The Texas toast reminded me of Sizzler’s cheese toast. Über buttery and soft. I could’ve easily consumed half a loaf on my own if it were in front of me. They have Mexican Coke but unfortunately ran out that day but if they have it when you visit, definitely get it! Thanks for the hospitality Arlington!

Coker’s has been my family’s go-to BBQ place for almost 10 years now, and the quality of their BBQ and friendly, attentive service has not wavered. It is family owned, and you can’t beat the prices! My husband loves their ribs, I usually get the chopped beef sandwich with fried okra(which is perfect), and we always try to save room for their warm cherry cobbler. It’s a great place for a casual group gathering… just be sure to bring your appetite!!!

My boyfriend and I drive from Dallas just to come here and have chopped brisket. We lived in the area before moving to Dallas and ate here sometimes three times a week. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good BBQ that isn’t a chain restaurant. :)

So, as part of my «eat all food in sight» vacation my dad and I decided to find some place close to go eat then go workout. We decided to try this place. Basically if you are looking for a cheap place to eat with decent food then here you go. ~ The Essentials ~ –Time: 2pm –Atmosphere: Tons of coke memorabilia which is really cool. You can smell the smoker as you come into the restaurant which is a pretty good sign. Décor basically looks like an indoor picnic area. — Side note: if you place little effort into your décor, that tells me your food is the business. At least that is what I think. - –Service: We had a really nice server who was fast and pretty engaging. Made us feel welcome. Believe her name was Mikah. –Food: Ah yes, what everyone has been waiting to hear. So I had pull pork, sliced brisket, mac-n-cheese, and string beans. So referring to my side note above… I was let down. Brisket = Dry. Tasted like it has been sitting under a heat lamp Pull Pork = Decent. It was moist, but no flavor. Mac = Pretty good actually String bean = Pretty good also. ~ Judges Say: 2 stars Here are my thoughts — Great bbq is a like a great woman. She should look great with and without makeup lol. The meat should taste great with and without sauce. I shouldn’t have to dress it up to make it taste good. I am paying for the chef to make my food delicious, not bring my own spice rack and hook it up myself. But… a few changes with the freshness and seasoning are small changes that could take this place to another level. Not recommended
