Cosi isn’t real high up on the places I like to visit in Rosslyn. It’s really just kind of meh for me. I know some people like to stop in for coffee in the mornings but I don’t have much of a desire to stop in really any time. In the Rosslyn area, there are multiple Starbucks and a Panera near the Metro you’d be better off going to. Every time I’ve been to this Cosi the food has been sub-par and the service has been pretty slow. I’d steer clear.

This place is the worst! Ordered a simple bowl of oatmeal. After 15mins, order hasn’t come up, I go check on it. The guy looks through a bunch of other orders and doesn’t communicate status to me. Just continues taking more orders. After another 5 mins, I ask someone else. She looks through, realizes the order never got made and gets kitchen staff to make it. Doesn’t tell me what’s up, I have to interrupt her to get status. Finally tells me it’s coming up. 23 minutes for a damn bowl of oatmeal. At least it was mostly hot and tasted like oatmeal. I understand shit happens, but LEARNTOFUCKINGCOMMUNICATEWITHTHECUSTOMER. Is that too much to ask?!

While I usually like Cosi’s food — this location cant seem to get it together. I work nearby, so come often for breakfast or lunch due to convenience. This place is like lunch roulette — you never know what they are actually going to put in your food bag. I would say at least 50 percent of the time I get something that is not quite what I ordered — order the TBT sandwich… get the chicken TBT melt, etc. Luckily I am not a picky eater.

Im only writing majority of this review for the service. Its a good AVERAGE service thats given because of the location. It gets very busy at times which makes it bad because if Im in the need of a quick bite, I wont get that. And this location can get pretty busy and random hours so pick and choose wisely. As far as the food its pretty good. But if I had to choose a «go-to» dish or choice it’ll definitely be the tomato basil soup with a side of bread for dipping. #SimpleYetDelicious

Misleading menu you only find out the truth when it’s time to pay. Menu states«combine any two of the following ½ sandwich, ½ melt, ½ pizza, ½ salad, or regular soup» giving the customer the impression you can order just a half of a sandwich and salad for the price of one whole sandwich. Not true. The menu on the wall upon entering Cosi lists just two prices yet when you are at the register the overhead sign lists three prices. So the taste two is really taste two entrees. When I decided just one entrée(sandwich) would do the cashier proceeded to justify«you can’t get soup and a sandwich» for ten bucks. As if that’s not enough to irritate you they ask if carrots are ok with your sandwich vice chips. «No, actually I want chips» cashier: «we don’t have chips only carrots.» This is my second visit to Cosi the first was for a hot chocolate which they were«out of». This place is clearly kept in business by the loitering government workers and visitors looking for a bathroom –not Cosi’s customer service or honest menu pricing.

If only my salad was as good as it looked. Let’s just say I got about 75% done when I noticed I was eating beetle juice. The cashier asked if I wanted her to remake my salad and of course I said no. If they didn’t notice the bug before I got the salad, what would make me think they’d notice a second time. I politely asked for my money back and that was that. #Disgusted #EatingBeetleJuice

I read the review before visiting and wondered by they got 2 stars. Well I tried to be unbiased!!! The location is great at the corner and there is outside seating. The menu is ok, but the service SUCKS!!! Went up to make an order and the cashier was texting on her phone the whole time. She didn’t pay attention to what the order was and got it wrong. She even argued that the TBM and Chicken TBM sandwich is the same. If they are why do they have two of the same thing on the menu? All in all the over all service sucked !!!

The only reason this location is in business is because a.) there are limited food options in Rosslyn, and b.) the NYC tour bus clientele need a place to use the bathroom. Convenience — not choice — sends me to shining beacon of mismanagement. Every morning, I come in and place the exact same order. Every morning, they find new and innovative ways to screw it up. I don’t even bother correcting them at this point; it’s damn-near entertaining. While some of the employees are fairly personable, this doesn’t preclude the whole lot of them from playing on their phones or standing around blankly when there’s a line of ten or more customers.

This places makes for a quick breakfast bite on your way to work. Nothing to rave about, but its a safe place to go that caters to most tastes. Watch the coffee pours – one cup I received was only half filled. May return out of convenience.

Stayed at a hotel down the street. Hubs and I walked to get a pizza for our kids and I walked into Cosi b/c I was curious, hungry, and it was 9:30pm. I was greeted by a smiling, helpful young man. Got the Adobo chicken w/avocado bowl and multi grain flatbread. I have to say, for casual dining, I was impressed w/my meal. The bowl was hearty, healthy, full of great flavors and textures. The multi grain flatbread was also very good. Bet it makes for a great sandwich or pizza. Interesting menu. I would visit a Cosi again, for sure.

Thanks for the bowl of rice. It really brings me back to times in college where I’d drizzle saracha on rice and call it gourmet.

They always get my(simple) soup and side of bread order wrong. The wait is always ridiculous even when there is no one in the restaurant. There are too many employees standing behind the register doing nothing. Very poorly managed and operated location. Very busy business district in Arlington needs fast, attentive restaurants for lunch rush — this place is just awful. It is also always pretty dirty inside.

Cosi is A-OK. No complaints. I got out of work late and needed to grab a quick dinner, and this place was on the way. I had the adobo chicken and avocado bowl and it was delicious. The service was friendly and prompt. No issues here.

We had breakfast during our stay at Le Meridian Arlington. It’s just opposite side of hotel so convenient. We ordered Squagel sandwiches from breakfast menu. It was good, freshly made so hot … Had enagised ourselves for next visit for the trip!

Do not order anything with meat here. Terrible quality. Lines are really long at lunch. I got a sample on the street of their mac & cheese and pumpkin soup and really enjoyed both of those! Stick with the soups…

Usual Cosi food served in a friendly but subpar manner. At other locations their bread is soft and fresh, here it was something between cold/stale and hardtack. I had the Korean pork bowl and it was okay but it took quite a while to finally get my order. One seemingly slow thing at this location is the items are made and brought to you rather than made in front of you as with most other Cosi locations I’ve visited. I suppose it’s for space reasons but I’ll take the cheap plastic container and an extra 10 mins of my life back rather than waiting for my meal to be brought on a plate. I suppose I’m lucky since the people next to me waited twenty minutes for a salad. This location is subpar and crowded at lunch but the food is decent other than the bread so I might be back here sometime if there isn’t a better option.

Sweet and helpful staff, but unfortunately they didn’t have everything on the menu, despite us visiting before noon. Food was ok — nothing impressive and perhaps a bit overpriced, but in lack of other options this place came in handy. The restaurant itself was clean and the food was serves quickly.

Bring your patience when you step into this Cosi location. The service is extremely slow. This morning I ordered a Sausage & Pepper Frittata Squagel Sandwich. I was reluctant to get to get breakfast at Cosi this morning because they are known for being extremely slow. Itt took nearly 15 + minutes for me to receive my order and it was cold when I opened it up at my desk to eat. During my wait I witnessed another customer furious because she hadn’t received her order and had been waiting a long time(she was there when I got their waiting); she demanded and received her money back. I also witnessed another customers order was wrong. It’s really sad because this location has potential but the slow service, getting orders wrong and serving cold food that’s supposed to be hot makes you want to throw the towel in and go elsewhere; which is what I’ll do from now on. This isn’t the first time it’s taken extremly too long for me to receive my order during non-peak hours.

On the onset, I got my correct meal in under five minutes. That appears to be the common grievances I did not participate in. Other than that, this is a run of the mill Cosí with a nice staff. I ordered a Korean BBQ Bowl, and I enjoyed it.
