A great little park with a fitness course, basketball half-court, a paved path with a water fountain, and two volleyball courts. Plus, an enclosed children’s play area. A nice place for a workout or a(very) short run. If you want something longer, it’s close to the Mt. Vernon trail.

Excellent! My absolute favorite place to work out when the weather is nice. Plenty of people go here even when it’s cold but I’m a sissy and hate the cold, bring on the heat! Even during the busiest times, there are still plenty of areas to work in without a wait.

For anybody that is a outdoor fitness enthusiast, that loves a gymnast style workout, this is the workout park for you. This park which is very accessible to the Crystal City Metro, and offers free street parking after 7 pm has a variety of stations that works both upper and lower body as well as helps build upper body strength and strengthen core muscles with various gymnastic style equipment such as overhead bars and rings to name a few. Also another plus, the park is handicap accessible as well. And if you are not into the gymnast style workout, they also offer a basketball and volleyball court at your disposal. The park is also well lit at night if you are a person that prefers to workout in the later evenings. During the warmer months, you are sure to jcatch a pick up volleyball game at any given time, and the players are always looking ofr new teammates. I really enjoyed working out at Crystal City Workout Park, because it gives you a variety that a regular gym does not offer you. And And I got to test out my fitness level, just to see how limber I was. And you can go at your own pace and it is great for any fitness level whether you are a beginner or a novice. I highly recommend checking this park out. Who knows you may like it.

Cool idea to have something like this accessible to everyone. Unfortunately there are bees everywhere!
