I have eaten here several times and the food and service were great. I came back today(January 31,2016) but it looks closed. No signs, no cars and no lights. I called their phone number and the recording said it was disconnected. I am sorry because the food was very good.

Not sure if they’re closed permanently but I got to the place at 12:47PM and there wasn’t a single car in the lot. There also wasn’t a sign on the door so I assume they’re closed? Kinda felt like a waste of time. Call ahead and make sure they’re open if you wanna try.

I don’t know if this restaurant is permanently closed. Unilocal said it was open, but at 12:15 today it was definitely closed. The front door had no notice for customers. We went there on a recommendation of a restaurant manager of another Mexican restaurant.

This place was ok. I had the Enchiladas Supremas and they were ok, nothing great and were not as authentic as I was hoping they would be. My husband had Camarones Embrujados which were super spicy but super good flavor. Asked for a side of tortillas and they tasted like the ones you buy straight from the«tortilleria» in Mexico. Where they really fell short was in their salsa. It was pretty much chunky tomato sauce out of a can. No flavor, no spice.

I work next door to this place and have seen it be many different places. I went in being very critical and ready to discount it and expect it to be the same old stuff. Wow… I was impressed! The food was really spectacular. I ordered chicken fajitas, the meat was tender and seasoned well, but not overly(as La Isla sometimes does). It also had plenty of sizzling veggies with it and Rice and Beans that did not taste like the lard laden variety which this location has been known previously. The flour tortillas were obviously home made and came out piping hot and wrapped in foil to keep them warm. The salsa was a nice variety; one being more tomato based and another with smoked peppers and very thick and spicy. I actually enjoyed it so much we came back a day later with our office. On my second visit, I ordered the verde enchiladas. Very tasty with shredded chicken and not overloaded with cheese. My friend got the carnitas which was served as whole large chunks. This was a nice change because it obviously took many hours to cook the meat to its very tender state. In short, I highly recommend this place and hope that their business picks up because it will be a new staple of my DFW area food cuisine. My only critique would be that the exterior of the restaurant could be improved upon; landscaping tidied up and stumps removed, lines repainted, for sale sign frame removed, and general touchups etc. I also would suggest that less fabuloso is used while customers are eating; it can be a bit overpowering.

Great food, great price! Migas are just right. Tortillas are not too crispy and not too soft.

If you like On The Boarder I want to donkey punch you in the face. This place unlike the crappy chains is an authentic, family owned, dining extravaganza. Right from the start you are served warm chips, fresh salsa(two kinds) and a warm smile. I’ve tried several items now and they all are delicious and the prices are fair. I’ve yet to try breakfast, but the next mega hangover I have you can expect to see me licking my wounds over some huevos rancheros. Do yourself a favor, get your azz down to Cuatro Potrillos and support your local business owner. They are incredibly nice and deserve the success nx support. Oh, and if you like OTB, PUNCH! SMASH! BAM!

Fairly new restaurant with a large menu. They offered a spicy and mild salsa to go along with the fresh chips. The spicy salsa was very good. Menu includes pretty much any variation on tex-mex you can think of along with salads, soups and an «Authentic Mexican» section. I chose the Carnitas and they were awesome — super tender with some crisp on the outside. Will definitely come back.
